Donatella Versace's Children Live Reclusive Lives - Facts about Her Daughter Allegra and Son Daniel
Donatella Versace's children, Allegra and Daniel Versace Beck have lived their lives away from the public eye despite their mother being a renowned fashion designer.
In addition to being a fashion designer, Donatella Versace is also a businesswoman, model, and socialite with one acting credit to her name. She has been involved with the Versace brand since her brother Giovanni Maria "Gianni" Versace founded it in 1978.
A few years after the business kicked off, she married former fashion model Paul Beck in 1985. One year later, they welcomed their daughter, and their son followed four years after their marriage. The couple divorced in 2000 but had a cordial relationship.

Allegra Versace
Allegra, born on June 30, 1986, is her mother's first child and daughter. Although named Allegra Versace Beck, she is popularly known as Allegra Versace.
At 11, she was already a millionaire. She inherited 50 percent of the Versace company based on her uncle's will after his death. However, she could only claim her inheritance on her 18th birthday.

Allegra's uncle, Giovanni Maria "Gianni" Versace, was murdered by Andrew Cunanan on July 15, 1997, outside his Casa Casuarina mansion in Miami Beach. He was 50 years old when he died and had no children.
She attended Brown University in Rhode Island before enrolling at the University of California, Los Angeles, to study French, art history, and theatre.
Despite her millionaire status, the heiress focused on her studies and preferred to remain anonymous. She even worked as a costume designer in a London theater before fully taking part in the business of Versace.

In 2007, there were reports that Allegra was suffering from anorexia - an eating disorder that causes people to obsess over what they eat and how much they weigh.
Once the reports hit the media, her parents released a joint statement to update the press about their daughter's health while asking for privacy. They said:
"Our daughter, Allegra has been battling anorexia, a very serious disease, for many years. She is receiving the best medical care possible to help overcome this illness and is responding well."

In 2011, Allegra joined Versace's board as a non-executive director, although she was already working part-time in the style department.
That same year, she gave a rare interview as she prefers to live away from the spotlight. In her interview, she talked about her uncle's death and revealed that she wanted a life where no one recognized her.
However, having taken a more active role in the business, she focused on the brand's younger product line. Her mother once described her as a brilliant woman with keen observational skills who knew how to make people listen to her.
Despite being one of Versace's directors, Allegra still lives a very reclusive life and is rarely seen in public. In September 2022, she was spotted in Milan while walking at Montanelli park with an unidentified man.
Donatella said she was sure she had made many mistakes with her children.
She wore a pink Lady Gaga Joanne World Tour Long Sleeve t-shirt paired with black joggers and pink sneakers, while her companion wore a red t-shirt, black shorts, and black sneakers. They both finished off their looks with black sunglasses.

Daniel Versace
Daniel was born in 1989, and there is very little information about him as he disappeared from the public eye. However, he lived in London and is known as a musician who played for Nucleus, a punk band.
His mother once claimed he did not want to be identified with the family name. She mentioned that he preferred to gain recognition for his talent rather than his name, so Daniel changed his name.

However, Donatella supported her son's decision and noted that he had become a good musician. He had an early start with music as Elton John taught him to play the piano while Axl Rose taught him to play the guitar.
Daniel also became a millionaire as a child, as he inherited his uncle's art collection when his uncle died. At the time, the art collection, which included two Picasso pieces, was worth over 37 million pounds.
Despite keeping away from the public eye, he has graced a few public functions with his mother. In 2008, he and his sister attended the Milan fashion shows with their mother.

Donatella Is Sure She Made a Lot of Mistakes with Her Children
Donatella said she was sure she had made many mistakes with her children despite spending quality time with them. She said:
"I'm sure I made a lot of mistakes with my children, but if you stay home, I think you make more mistakes. I was travelling a lot when the children were little, but I made sure that the time I was spending with them was quality time."

After losing her brother, Donatella started numbing her pain by using all the wrong things. She once said that she felt lost and resorted to using drugs, leading to a cocaine addiction.
However, she had to think about her children, and when Elton offered her a jet and a reserved spot at the Meadows Premier Drug Rehab Center in Arizona in 2004, she took his offer.
Ten years after her rehab, she quit smoking because of her daughter. The fashion designer revealed that Allegra threatened her, and she took the threats seriously. Her daughter had told her that she would never see her again if she kept smoking. From that day, she quit for good.
