Nearly two decades have passed, but Paul Rudd's love for his wife, Julia Yaeger, has not faded. Yaeger was with him through his career's highs and lows, including when People magazine named him the "Sexiest Man Alive."

The "Ant-Man" star is best known in Hollywood for his incredible age-defying features and charming personality, but rather than taking credit for his good looks, he credits someone else.

Julie Yaeger a Producer and a Screenwriter Besides Being a Mother

Yaeger has had an active presence in the entertainment industry for a while. In the 1990s, she worked as a publicist and set up an office in New York City.

She later went on to work in film production and screenwriting. She was the woman behind the comedy film "Fun Mom Dinner," which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in 2017.

Yaeger wrote the screenplay, while Rudd, who had a short cameo in the movie, was the executive producer. Katie Alison, Molly Shannon, and Toni Collette are among the stars who appeared in the film.

Yaeger and her handsome husband own a business outside the entertainment industry. They co-own Samuels Sweet Shop, a candy and coffee shop in Rhinebeck, New York.

Rudd and Yaeger put in a lot of effort for years to keep their children out of the spotlight.

They Have Been Married since 2003, but How Did They Meet?

The couple's meeting happened in the late 1990s. After Rudd gained success in the 1995 film "Clueless," he walked into Yaeger's office as he was looking for someone to represent him.

The two of them getting together benefited the Hollywood heartthrob in more ways than one; he found a publicist and someone with whom he could see himself spending the rest of his life.

Rudd said Yaeger was the first person he spoke to when he arrived in town, and their romance blossomed when he invited her out for lunch. He found out that he and Yaeger had gone through similar life struggles.

Rudd was also completely blown away by Yaeger's level of maturity for someone of such a young age, and he admired her for her resilience in the face of adversity. He added:

"There was a perspective that she had and still has on the world that you don't come to easily – it's earned and most people don't have it at such a young age."

Rudd and the former publicist married in a private ceremony in February 2003. The couple has been married for 19 years, making theirs one of the few celebrity marriages that have lasted this long.

People were impressed by how long the couple had been married, but what wowed them was how young Rudd still looked. Instead of boasting about his handsome features, he once said in an interview that his most attractive feature was his wife.

However, they made an exception when Yaeger's husband received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2015. They brought in Jack and Darby to witness their father's special ceremony.

Despite Paul Rudd's impressive achievements, one of their children appeared unimpressed. His looked-like son, Jack, joked that he couldn't wait to see how "stupid" the movie would be when Paul told him he would be playing Marvel's Ant-Man.

In a past episode of "Friday Night In With the Morgans," Yaeger opened up about the parent-child relationship. She said that parents should love and support their children regardless of their silly actions.
