Dina Norris Is Now a Mom of 3 after Dad Was Unaware of Her Birth for 26 Years - The Life of Chuck Norris' Daughter

Dina Norris was 26 years old when she wrote to her famous father, Chuck Norris, in 1991, informing him that she was his child. Though conceived through an extra-marital affair, she was welcomed with open arms.

Dina's father has had a glittering career in the movie industry, which began in 1968, five years after she was born. However, despite being the child of a famous action movie star in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Dina remained in the shadows throughout those early years.

However, after Chuck's divorce from his first wife, Dianne Kay Holecheck, in 1989, Dina took that opportunity to inform her father of her existence. Without much debate, the Hollywood actor had acknowledged that she was his and soon began making up for the lost time.

Dina Norris's Dad Immediately Claimed Her on Their First Meeting

When she contacted her biological father for more information, Dina had been trying to piece together her medical history. It was an emotional moment for Chuck, who recalled the day, noting:

"One morning as I was opening my mail, I came across a letter from a Dianna DeCioli. I opened the letter and started reading, wondering who this person was. I soon found out. 'I am your daughter,' the letter said. It nearly floored me. 'My mother is Johanna.'"

From reading that letter, Chuck got flashbacks of his short-lived relationship with Dina's mother, Johanna. He agreed to meet Dina and her mother and was convinced she was his at first sight. Norris said, "I didn't need a DNA test. I went to her, wrapped my arms around her, and we both started crying."

Dina Norris Built Her Own Career Path despite Dad's Fame

Dina was born in 1963 and attained her high school diploma in 1981 from Hemet High School in California. In her journey to establish herself, she attended several schools, including Orange Coast College in California, Champion School of Real Estate in Texas, and Northrop Advanced Systems Division, again in California.

She began her career as a staffing rep/supervisor/operations manager at TPM Personal Service. Between 1996 to 2000, she got to work with her father on the set of her father's hit television series, "Walker Texas Ranger," as a public relations assistant. Her job description there included assisting with VIP guests.

After her time on set with Chuck, Dina joined World Combat League as a public relations coordinator between 2007 and 2010. She became a realtor with Keller Williams Realty from 2012 to 2014 before starting her current job as a recruitment consultant at Zilis LLC. She has been working there for two years.

Dina Norris Proudly Raised Three Children Who Are Close to Grandpa Chuck

Dina is happily married to Damien DiCioli. The couple has three children: daughter Gabi and sons Dante and Eli. It does not look like any of the three kids have followed in their famous grandfather's footsteps.

While Gabi was very much invested in her studies by spending most of her hours in the library, her brother Dante was more into sports and played soccer as a student.

Although Dina only met Chuck Norris when she was already in her mid-20s, her children got to spend time with their grandfather at an earlier age. The kids have a great relationship with Chuck and even go on vacations together. In 2018, the proud Grandpa was on hand to see his granddaughter get married.

It is wholesome to see Dina and her family connecting with her paternal side of the family despite all the years they lost. Dina has also managed to thrive on her own and in her career.
