Hollywood veteran star Richard Gere is a father of two boys. He shares his eldest son with his second wife and his youngest with his third spouse.

Actor Richard Gere's third wife, publicist Alejandra Silva, shared a photo of the couple and their young son Alexander outdoors on Instagram.

In the picture, the husband-and-wife duo had their hands in the air showing their child big shadows below. Alexander followed suit by sticking out his arms to see his shadow on the pavement.

His mom captioned the post: "Daddy, mommy, and Alexander." Young Alexander donned a white sweater, pink pants, and green rain boots in the snap. Fans commented on the said post, with one person writing: "Like normal people, we love you!" Another Instagram user said: "Family is a little world made of love."

Silva and Gere's son was born in February 2019. They have another son - whose name has yet to be revealed - whom they welcomed in April 2020. The father of three once revealed that the couple's unknown son arrived at their Upstate New York home.

The renowned movie star has another son, Homer, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Carey Lowell. Meanwhile, the Spanish native also has a son Albert from her previous marriage.

In October 2022, the couple shared a glimpse of one of their young sons during Halloween celebrations. Their child was photographed donning a lion outfit for the occasion.

Gere and Silva – who have a 33-year age gap – first crossed paths in 2014, and he had to work harder to get her full attention. The "Pretty Woman" star courted his future wife by sending her flowers until she agreed to go on a date with him. They had known each other for over ten years before they pursued a romantic relationship.

To date, Silva has raved about her beloved husband, whom she is madly "in love" with. The activist stated her spouse is down-to-earth, loving, hilarious, and kind. She added Gere reassures her of her importance in his life daily: "What can I say? I'm so in love! Not a day goes by that he doesn't mention how important I am to him. I feel very lucky."

The lovebirds got married in April 2018, and soon after, they learned that they were expecting their first child together. They revealed the exciting news in September of that year.

Silva shared a picture of her newly-wedded husband and the Dalai Lama cradling her baby bump. The mom-to-be noted that she and her spouse had to inform the spiritual leader before publicly announcing their pregnancy:

Shortly after the couple exchanged wedding vows, an insider close to them revealed they were on cloud nine while having a blast together. "They are so comfortable with each other and are looking forward to their future together," said the source.

Silva and Gere wed in a civil ceremony. They later celebrated their love at a party in New York City in May of that same year with their loved ones.

The pair had been living and raising their son Alexander in a New York estate before listing it on the market. Silva and Gere once shared a 50-acre property in Pound Ridge, Westchester County.

Gere had to sell the house for less than its asking price – with the buyer forking out $24.15 million for it. The abode features a pool, five structures, and some tables.

The primary residence is 11,600 feet and has a private beach and a soccer field, including an island. The surroundings of the compound consist of lush greenery and over 4,300 acres of protected land circle the estate.

Gere listed the property in October 2021 for $28 million. Hollywood's leading man reportedly purchased the house over 30 years ago for only $1.5 million. The "American Gigolo" star allegedly spent $10 million on a new 35-acre estate which is also situated in Upstate New York, with his beautiful wife of four years.
