Many know Paris Hilton as the party girl of the early 2000s who got into a lot of trouble because of her wild behavior. Having a hotelier father and other famous family members meant she was constantly in the spotlight.

However, there is more to Miss Hilton than met the eye back then. She has become successful in her own right, built her own brand, and has even become a wife in recent months. Now, she's looking to expand again.

Carter Reum and Paris met again after knowing one another for a while at Reum's sister's house at Thanksgiving dinner one year. Paris said they immediately had an undeniable chemistry and went on a date shortly after that meeting.

Their wedding was an incredible and star-studded event that Paris shared multiple times on her social media. Everything from when she began talking to people about her husband to the day of their wedding was included.

She said that after 15 years of knowing Reum, she finally found true friendship in their union and knew from the beginning that he was her soulmate and someone she wanted to spend her life with.

Paris proudly stated that the couple had not spent a night apart since their first date. She said: "It's pretty amazing." The loved-up pair wed last year, and now Paris has shared that she has babies on the brain.

Paris said that while she wants three or four kids overall, she would love to welcome a twin boy and girl first so she could experience being a mother to both a male and female child, but said:

"Whatever happens, happens."

Paris Lost Hope in Love

Paris has often spoken about what it was like for her to endure toxic relationships in her past. The former reality star suffered a series of failed relationships and even failed engagements, the last being with Chris Zylka. She said: "I was like, 'I give up.'"

Paris' relationship with Zylka ended in 2018, and following that, she decided that she would just focus on herself and didn't need to be in a relationship to be fulfilled. However, it did lead her to believe that she might never be a wife or mother.

She mentioned that she didn't think she would be able to find the perfect match for her as she wanted something like her mom and dad had. She said her mom and dad are still in love, are best friends and her father is fiercely loyal to her mother.

The former reality star said she was not ready to fall in love with anyone because she had been looking for love in all the wrong places until she met Reum, who she says reminds her of her father. She said: "I'm happy; I found a guy who's from a small town, and so sweet and has good family values."

She then said that she was glad she had waited for some time because she had finally found the love her mother and father had. She admitted that her husband makes her feel safe and happy.

Before meeting the man who finally made her feel happy and safe, Paris had been in more than a dozen public relationships. Each of these relationships ended in heartbreak for Paris, and three of those were engagements.

Paris' first engagement was with Jason Shaw from 2002-2003. Shaw and Paris got engaged soon after they began dating. She was 21, and he was 29 at the time, but Paris often gushed about how much she loved Shaw and said the pair had known one another for a long time.

Little was known about their relationship or engagement, and there was little information about what happened to end their relationship. However, the pair remained friends and were seen out together after they broke up.

Her next engagement was to Paris Latsis in 2004. The Greek socialite asked Paris to marry him soon after they began dating, and Paris said she was grateful to have found someone honest and who she loved so much.

She made headlines soon after their engagement because she complained that her 24-carat engagement ring was too heavy for her finger. However, their engagement lasted only five months.

Talking about why she decided to call off her engagement to the Greek shipping heir, Paris emotionally said:

"We remain best of friends. I'll always love him. I hope people will respect my privacy during this emotional time."

Before she finally tied the knot with her current husband, her last engagement was with Chris Zylka in 2018. The couple seemed very much in love when he asked her to marry him on a ski trip in Aspen.

The pair began dating in 2017 after Zylka's brother set them up. However, nine months after the couple got engaged, they called it off. Paris said she was obsessed with Disney and love stories and realized that Zylka wasn't hers.

After their breakup, it was reported that Zylka asked for the 20-carat engagement ring back, but Paris refused to return it because Zylka had not paid for it. The ring was given to Paris as a gift from her friend, celebrity jeweler Michael Greene.

Paris has also opened up about the abusive relationships she has endured and mentioned that it all started in high school, where she was physically abused, which made her believe it was customary to be abused.

Talking about her treatment at her old high school, Paris said the abuse became something she was used to. She admitted:

"I didn't really understand what love or relationships were. I thought that them getting so crazy meant they were in love with me. Looking back, I can't believe I let people treat me like that."

The former reality star said the abuse would start off as jealousy and verbal abuse but would soon spiral out of control, and her ex-boyfriends would end up laying their hands on her. She said before the abuse started, they seemed like nice guys.
