He understands that working would also mean time away from his son, but he tries to make himself available as much as possible.

In 2019, Flack worked as a Chief Communications and Content Officer for Anya. She also worked as an author at Little, Brown and Company. Flack has written for The Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, and the Weekly Standard, among others.

Flack penned the novel "Bunheads," which gave a glimpse into New York's ballet industry, an art Flack knows by heart as she was a former competitive ballet dancer. Sharing her life as a ballerina, Flack said she begged her parents for lessons at a young age. She said:

Flack is also active on social media, sharing snippets of her life and hoping to be a good influence on her followers. Previously, she shared about body positivity and encouraged others to be proud of their figures, scars, and curves.

Flack also uses her social media as an avenue to spread awareness. In 2021, she encouraged her followers to help resettle Afghan families by purchasing items from an Amazon wishlist. The money would then be used as a donation. She also recently promoted a fundraiser that helped Ukraine fight against its attackers.

Flack has been with Charles for several years but chooses to keep their relationship away from the media. However, they appeared together at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards in 2011. They were also guests at the 2012 wedding of Alec and Hilaria Baldwin.

Flack and Charles tied the knot on September 6, 2013, in a private residence in Manhattan. An intimate reception followed at an Italian eatery, Il Cantinori. In the years since their wedding, Flack has posted glimpses of their life together on Instagram, including sweet tributes to her husband.

"Sometimes it feels like we're on an endless merry-go-round of bedtime battles and butt wipes and early morning oatmeal and whose turn it is to run the dog out I did it last time, and I wish that for a minute we could pull back and look at what we've built together (sic)," she shared sweetly on Valentine's Day.

The pair became first-time parents on December 9, 2014, after welcoming a baby boy, Rocco. Four years later, the couple had another child, a daughter, whose birth was announced on social media.

In 2017, Charles offered a glimpse into his fatherhood, revealing that he would take his young boy to swimming class, where Rocco would learn to be comfortable in the water. He also bonds with Rocco through books and visits to bookstores.

Despite his work schedule, the actor spends time with his son during the week. He understands that working would also mean time away from his son, but he tries to make himself available as much as possible.
