Cody treasures his son, who he named after his late dad. His wife shared a sweet new photo as the baby turned six months old.
TV presenter Kathie Lee Gifford's grandson, Frank Micheal Gifford, turned six months old on December 3. The baby boy is Kathie's only grandson, and the family loves fawning over the adorable little bundle of laughs.
Kathie's daughter-in-law, Erica Gifford, posted three images of her son to celebrate the milestone. In the first, Frank sits with a spoon in his hand and food smeared around a wide-open, smiling mouth.
The rest of the images are just as adorable. The second shows little Frank with Erika's goddaughter, and in the third, the boy is perched on a big chair, all smiles. Erica said the boy is developing rapidly, stating, "Truly unwell with how fast it all goes." Kathie commented:
"Bubbela, your Bubbe is completely besotted by you. You give me HOPE for the future..you give me JOY in the now. I praise our everloving LORD for you."
Erica and her husband, Cody Gifford, decided to name their baby after Cody's late father, Frank Gifford. Now, Cody tries his best to make his own dad proud by being the best dad he can be.
Cody truly admires his father and looked towards him for guidance while he was still around.
In a photo Erica shared, Cody holds his baby in his arms and stares lovingly into his eyes. His wife commented happily that she's "forever grateful" to have her husband and her son in her life.
How Did Cody Become a Copy of His Late Father?
Most people who met Cody and knew his father would comment that the young man seems like a replica of his dad since he has the same hair, facial features, and smile. Kathie noticed it herself, and even a few of her friends commented on the similarities between the two.

But looks aren't where the similarities end. Kathie's late husband made a name for himself playing football for the New York Giants when he was young. Cody also loved the game and played for the University of Southern California.
Cody truly admires his father and looked towards him for guidance while he was still around. It's no wonder the young man decided to try his hand at his father's sport since he saw his dad as a role model. Cody mentioned:
"The great Wellington Mara once called dad 'the son any father would love to have and the father any son would be proud to have.' He was right. God blessed me beyond words."

Today, Cody still tries to follow the example his dad set. Kathie's husband. had passed away a little while before little frank was born, and Cody was devastated, which meant raising his own son well became his priority.
