Every Christmas Tim McGraw Gathers His Family & Cooks 3-Day Pasta Dish — Fan Jokingly Asks to Be Adopted
For every Christmas festivity, Tim McGraw brought his whole family together and took over the cooking for three days while making his family a particular dish, which had become their tradition. The McGraw family would often dress up in funny costumes during this time.
Samuel Timothy Smith, who now goes by his stage name, Tim McGraw, was born in Delhi, Louisiana, on May 1, 1967. The singer was famous for his Southern accent and touching songs, making him quite popular as a country musician in the 1990s and early 21st century.
His mother raised him, and he only discovered his father was Tug McGraw - the famous baseball player - when he was 11. In 1989, the actor left college and relocated to Nashville, where he worked as a performer in a club.

The following year he signed a contract with Curb Records. In 1993, Tim released his debut recording, which was unsuccessful, but "Not a Moment Too Soon," his follow-up, became the biggest-selling country album of 1994.
The album also became the sixth best-selling album of the year in all genres. In 1995, the star's celebrity status grew more when he released "All I Want," and the following year, he married Faith Hill, and the pair's marriage was high-profile.
Tim was so well-established by 2000 that he could release his greatest hits, including 15 songs. The following year, he and his wife received a Grammy Award for their duet "Let's Make Love."
With his wife, the singer grew his family by adding children. The couple had three wonderful children, with some of them showing how gifted they were in music like their parents!

When the two stars weren't working, they were just ordinary parents to their daughters: Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey. The trio has appeared alongside their celebrity parents in public, and Hill and her husband often shared the cutest social media posts about them.
They've basically grown up in the public eye! In 2021, Tim noted how crazy it was that time went by so fast and shared how he'd marked his time with his children against their years, adding:
"And the next thing you know, they grow so fast and it's like every two years there's a different child that you have as they age."
Despite all their achievements, the pair was more proud of their children. Tim once confessed how inspiring it was to watch his daughters go out in the world to do their own things.
He proudly shared that he and his wife had raised independent, strong, and strong-willed women. The singer also revealed how grateful he was that his daughters were normal children who were grounded and respected themselves and others.
The star said it made him feel like they'd done a "pretty decent job," but he gave more credit to Hill. Gracie McGraw, the couple's oldest child, was welcomed on May 5, 1997, and after she graduated from New York University, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
From 2018 until 2020, Gracie was featured on "If Loving You Is Wrong" as Tanya. In a 2022 episode of "Be My Guest with Ina Garten," she appeared alongside her mother and assisted baking a Coca-Cola cake.
Besides acting, she also took to music and has posted several clips of her incredible singing range. In 2015, Gracie shared the stage with her father at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
Tim once confessed how proud he was of his oldest daughter in 2020. He confirmed she was an actress in Los Angeles and made him proud daily because she was independent, strong, and a young woman who spoke her mind.
Maggie McGraw was born on August 12, 1998, and graduated from Stanford University in 2021 with a Master's degree. Her father gushed over the achievement on Instagram, noting how proud he was of her.
Tim praised his second-born child, sharing how he admired her love of her family, work ethic, and passion for improving the world. Maggie was generally private, but she'd accompanied her parents to public events once in a while, like in 2016 when she was seen with her father at the AMAs.
On December. 6, 2001, Audrey McGraw was welcomed, and she graduated high school in June 2020. Audrey was working in the entertainment industry, and in December 2020, Tory Burch featured her in a campaign.
In August 2021, she made her acting debut in Tim's "7500 OBO" music video. Hill posted a photo of the pair on set and shared how proud she was of them before noting how "our baby girl" was grown up.
That same year, Tim revealed that Audrey was living in New York City, and just like her oldest sister, she sang beautifully! In August 2022, she shared a video where she played the piano while singing a rendition of Pat Benatar's "Fire and Ice."
When the family wasn't focused on their individual lives and careers, they made time for one another. The famous family had things they specifically did when they came together for the holidays.
Faith and Tim's Family Traditions
For the holidays, Hill and her husband ensured to make their home as festive as possible! The group gathered together and had their annual themed holiday events, and in 2022, Gracie shared some Instagram Story posts and asked fans to guess their theme.
She enticed her followers with a few images of the past themes, showing how her family went all out each year. The family had done "Game of Thrones" and "Harry Potter," with Tim dressed as Lucius Malfoy and Maggie as the main star.
Audrey also gave fans a glimpse sharing her look where she was seen in a backless cream-colored dress with a low skirt, a blonde wig, and a long cigarette holder. During her birthday, the family got into the festivities by wishing her a happy one and celebrating her 21st.
According to a publication, Tim spent days preparing his family's Christmas Eve meal, for which he and his wife invited relatives to celebrate. His record label said the star's family dinner was always homemade spaghetti and meatballs for Christmas Eve, with him stating:
“It takes me about three days to prepare it and make it, and I let it slow cook for a long time. And the girls, they’re just always excited when that time rolls around, and it happens once a year."
The "special" meal, which everyone looked forward to, was eaten at noon so the visitors could have enough time to return home to take care of the following day's preparations. Tim also covered some holiday season songs during that time.
For instance, he shared his rendition of Merle Haggard's "If We Make It Through December" and George Strait's "Christmas Cookies." In the past, Hill's husband confessed how pasta had been his family's tradition for years.
The "7500 OBO" singer explained how his making the meal was a tradition, from his Italian heritage, he'd had from childhood and hoped his daughters would carry on with it. Tim once said they called them "noodles and gravy."
