In October 2021, The Shade Room shared a short video of Emani sitting behind a microphone and delivering a cover of Whitney Houston's famous song, "I Will Always Love You."

The clip was originally posted by one of her family members and showed Emani shying away and saying, "I can't do it," before an off-camera voice is heard motivating the thirteen-year-old, who continued to share her skilled vocals.

As a daughter of a rapper, Emani's talent with a microphone comes as no surprise. The video received over three million views and seven hundred likes at the time of writing, with one person commenting:

Emani's paternal uncle, aunt, and grandmother had physical custody of her following her father's passing, and in 2021 her uncle, Samiel Asghedom, asked a judge that they be added as guardians of her estate.

Nipsey Hussle's wealth included gold necklaces valued at almost $100,000, gold earrings worth $12,000, two Rolex watches valued at $21,500, a princess cut diamond valued at $4,700, and a gold charm worth $13,000.

Legal documents revealed that Emani would receive half of her late father's estate. Her family asked the court to appoint them executors of Emani's estate to help her invest and look after her wealth wisely until she turned eighteen.

TikTok Users Noted How Much Emani Had Grown

Aside from singing, Emani proved she had a few dance moves up her sleeve. A video of her choreography was posted on TikTok and showed her dancing to "I Like," a viral sound on the social media app, as she dawned ripped jeans, a gray top, and a jacket.

Social media users praised her dance moves in the comments section and noted how much she resembled her father. In another TikTok video, Emani showed off her black curls as she hoped in NBA Youngboy's "Whap" challenge.

Many people commented on the video, and one person wrote, "No way!!!!! She grew up so fast!" while another commented, "Where did the time go???"

During a 2018 interview with Steph Curry, Emani's father explained that confidence was one of the many things he tried to instill in her, as well as integrity and leadership. He further said:

"When I drop my daughter off every day, I drill her. When I take her to school, we have a little convo before she gets out the car and she gets sick of running scripts with me."
