Emily Kuchar Is a Former Miss Daytona Beach & Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader: Meet Zack Greinke's Wife

Zack Greinke's wife, Emily Greinke, formally known as Emily Kuchar, has been by the professional baseball player's side since they were in high school. She regularly shares pictures of their family of five and was said to have been one of the reason's her husband's baseball game improved.

Emily and Zack's love story is the perfect meet-cute– she was a library assistant, and he was the popular jock when he approached her, and the pair became friends before their relationship turned into something more.

Since then, the couple has welcomed three children. The former beauty pageant contender and cheerleader documents her life as a wife of a pro-baller with her followers on Instagram, which was over thirteen thousand at the time of writing.

Emily Is a Former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader

After meeting her future husband at Apopka High School in Orlando, Florida, Emily enrolled at the University of Central Florida and majored in Communications. She dreamt of becoming an entertainment host to interview Hollywood celebrities.

Emily had been a dancer since she was a toddler. After the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders held nationwide auditions, she tried out and landed a spot after graduating high school. She said:

"It was one of the best experiences. I performed at every Texas stadium home game, and (I) was also able to travel around the world."

Emily danced for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for two years and visited Korea four times, as well as England, Iceland, France, Belgium, and Germany, during cheerleading tours. When she returned to US soil, she shared that she enjoyed playing tennis and baking in her spare time.

After winning the title of Miss Daytona Beach USA 2009, Emily also competed for the Miss Florida USA crown. Unfortunately, she did not win.

However, she shared glimpses of her life after dancing and modeling on social media. In April 2009, she joined Twitter and described herself as a coke, coffee, and wine lover.

While little is known about Emily and her husband's big day in 2009, the couple did honeymoon in Hawaii for three walks after tying the knot. 2009 proved to be a big year for Emily's husband as it was the same year he won the American League Cy Young Award.

Zack was the sixth overall pick in the 2002 amateur draft and made his major league debut in 2004. He had a difficult start to life as a professional athlete and made a return to the sport in 2007 after suffering an injury and battling with anxiety.

However, in 2010, ESPN noted that the baseball player was "a changed man," and one of the reasons for his improvement as a player was his stable home life. When a writer asked Emily's husband how he was enjoying married life, he said:

"Just her always being there. You look in her eyes, and it just makes you feel good."

In 2019, Emily and her husband celebrated ten years of marriage. She took to Instagram to commemorate their tenth wedding anniversary with a black and white picture from their special day, and in her caption, she wrote, "I have found the one whom my soul loves."

They Have 3 Kids, and the Eldest Was Born in 2015

Emily became a mother for the first time on July 27, 2015, when she welcomed her eldest son, Bode Nicholas Greinke. He came into the world weighing six pounds and five ounces, and she shared the news of his arrival on Twitter.

She became a mom of two boys in 2017 when she gave birth to her middle child, Griffin, who turned five in June. In March 2021, Emily shared on Instagram that she was expecting her third child when she posted a picture of a letterboard that said their third baby was due in the fall.

She joined a list of other women like Gal Gadot, who gave birth in 2021 when she welcomed her youngest son Jordy Zackary Greinke on November 5, 2021.
