Arnelle Simpson Now Lives a Simple & Happy Life with Mom Marguerite
O.J. Simpson's oldest daughter, Arnelle Simpson, took the brunt of her family's struggles after the passing of her stepmother, Nicole Brown, as she had to take the mantle of guardian to her stepbrothers.
Moreover, Arnelle also had the responsibility of taking the stand in her father's multiple court dates. She is the only sibling to testify in her father's trials, and she was on the stand on four occasions from 1995 to 2017. The eldest of the Simpson brood, she also struggled with holding a job and alleged alcoholism.
Nevertheless, one constant in her life is her mother, Marguerite Whitley. Despite her mother's advanced age, the two have remained close through it all and still find to go on movie dates together. It is unclear whether Arnelle has been married and whether she gave her parents any grandkids.

Arnelle Simpson, the Eldest of 5 Siblings Who Lost Their Youngest
While testifying during her father's infamous murder trial, Arnelle told the jury that she was born in December 1968, the same day her father won the Heisman trophy. That makes her the oldest child of O.J.'s five children. The disgraced athlete had three children from his first marriage with Whitley and two with Brown.
Whitley and O.J. were married in 1967. After Arnelle, the couple had Jason Lamar Simpson, born in 1970, and Aaren Lashone Simpson in 1977. Unfortunately, the family was left in mourning after two-year-old Aaren drowned in the family's swimming pool in August 1979.
Her passing marked the start of a difficult period for the family as O.J., who was alleged to be the killer, became the center of public backlash.

Arnelle Simpson Wished to Move On & Forward after Dad's Multiple Court Trials
Arnelle became a feature on the witness stand as she constantly had to testify in court during her father's multiple dates with the justice system. Arnelle first appeared on the stand in 1995 when O.J. was on trial for the double murder of his ex-wife and her friend, Ron Goldstone.
Her second was at her father's 2008 trial for robbery. In 2013, she was on the stand again as her father sought a retrial. Finally, in 2017, Arnelle was there for her father's parole hearing. She was the only one among her siblings who testified, hence, became the most visible of O.J.'s children. Of her father and trials, she said:
"He truly is remorseful and we just want him to come home so that we can move forward for us, quietly, but to move forward."

Arnelle Simpson Struggled to Hold Down a Job for 20 Years While Raising Her Siblings
When Arnelle's stepmother, Nicole Brown, was murdered, she left behind her two young children Sydney Brooke Simpson born in 1985, and Justin Ryan Simpson, born in 1989. Her passing marked the start of a difficult period for the family as O.J., alleged to be the killer, became the center of public backlash.
Arnelle, who had lived through the best days of their family, perhaps felt the change more than her siblings. Speaking about her childhood experience in an interview with Georgia Newsday in 2014, she said, "Back then, we were the first black family in that neighborhood in Brentwood."
As the eldest of the Simpson brood, Arnelle bore the brunt of her family's troubles. She had to quickly become a guardian to her younger siblings, especially the ones left by her stepmother, as they were still too young.
However, it was easier said than done for the young lady as she faced several obstacles that kept her from having a stable life. One of the main problems was holding down a job. She struggled to carve out a prolonged career for herself and had a few significant employment opportunities, including working for a rapper called Hash.
Not everyone saw Arnelle's effort to keep the family ticking in good light. Speculation was raised over her handling of her father's finances after she was left to manage his estate after O.J.'s arrest for armed robbery and kidnapping in 2007. She was accused of being a shopaholic and would spend her father's pension on herself.

O.J. was allowed to receive a $25 000-a-month NFL pension even after his incarceration, which is enough for many families to live a sustainable life. Therefore, when the family struggled financially, some felt justified in thinking that it was because of Arnelle's irresponsibility that the family faced financial problems.
It was further revealed that Arnelle had an alcohol problem which contributed to the exuberant spending of her father's money. It is noted that even O.J. knew about her alcohol problem, as it had been going on even before he went to prison.

Arnelle Simpson Remains Close to Her Mom, Who She Brings to Movie Dates
An insider for the Daily Mail recalled how O.J. Simpson would try to get his oldest daughter married so she could move out of his house. However, whether that eventually happened is unknown. And it is also not publicly known if Arnelle has any kids.
However, her Instagram is filled with posts of children whom she seems to admire very much. In the photos, she usually shows herself hanging out with several kids, with many of the captions referencing her love for the kids and celebrating them.

Arnelle's Instagram also shows that she remains close to her mother, Whitley, despite all the mishaps that fell on the Simpson family all those years. Arnelle continued to live with her father after her parent's divorce, but it seems after all the disappointments, Arnelle and Whitley's relationship is still cordial.
The mother-daughter duo is sometimes seen at the movies for their movie dates. This year, the pair watched the women empowerment movie, "The Woman King." Arnelle posted a photo showing them seated in the cinema with a caption reading, "Mom & I at the movies Woman King, Amazing."
