Ava Berlin Renner Became Involved in Family Scandals at an Early Age
Ava Berlin Renner is the daughter and only child of the producer and actor Jeremy Renner. The dynamics of her parents' relationship put her in the spotlight at a young age.
Ava Berlin Renner was born from her father's relationship with the model, actress, and sculptor Sonni Pacheco. The relationship between her parents did not last long after she was born, as they went their separate ways.
Even though her parents are no longer together, her father loves her more than anything else. He is also willing to give up everything if it means having more time to spend with her.
Ava Has Been in the Camera's Sights since Birth
Ava was born on March 28, 2013, but before her birth, her father was secretive about her. Her parents barely spoke about the pregnancy to the press, but their representative announced the safe delivery.
Her parents were also not married at the time of her birth. However, less than a year later, they married on January 13, 2014. Unfortunately, their union did not last, and they finalized their divorce on December 28, 2015.
The press was already interested in Ava as a baby since she was the daughter of a celebrity. Barely two months after her birth, the paparazzi captured pictures of her with her parents as they sent out in Los Angeles.
Ava's Father Was Willing to Leave Marvel for Her
Ava's father once revealed that fatherhood made him change his priorities. For almost two years after her birth, he could not spend as much time as he wanted with her.
This forced him to re-evaluate and decide he would put his daughter first. Because he wanted to spend as much time with her as possible, he renegotiated his working terms with Marvel.
His desire to put his daughter first even scared his close friends and associates as they worried he would get fired. However, the actor informed them that he did not mind getting fired because he wanted time with his daughter.
Ava would always hang out with her dad every weekend and spends time with him on set. When producers complain, he reminds them that his daughter comes before his career.
When they are not on set, they have fun in other ways. In 2017, Ava was her father's date for the Oscars and was seen on the red carpet with him.
Ava's father never hesitates to show how much he loves her on social media. He would dedicate sweet posts to her, and in one of his posts, he wrote:
"I'll walk with you anywhere, from your first step to my last.... I'm so blessed to share this amazing journey with you."
Ava's Parents' Complicated Relationship
Ava's mother filed for divorce ten months after marriage, and they share custody of her. Over time, the relationship between her parents became complicated and frequently made the news.
Years after finalizing their divorce, Sonni made severe accusations against Jeremy. She accused him of biting their daughter on the shoulder and demanded sole custody of Ava.
In addition, Sonni accused the actor of plotting to kill her and himself. While the couple had battled over child support, Jeremy also accused his ex of being obsessed with sex and revealed that she sent his nude pictures to their custody evaluator.
He was concerned that Ava was exposed to her mother's sexually explicit sculptures. When he fired back at his ex-wife, he wanted the court to reduce her time with their daughter and recommended she get treated for psychological problems.
Despite their relationship twists and turns, Ava's parents have moved on. In October 2022, Sonni Pacheco revealed she was expecting her second child.

Jeremy Renner Didn't Think Ava Would See His Films Anytime Soon
When Ava was only a few months old, her father remarked in an interview that the movies he had done were not age-appropriate for her. He believed it would take a while before she could watch his movies.
Years later, when she was eight, she attended the Los Angeles premiere of "Hawkeye" with her father, cousins, and other family members. Although still young, she has had an interesting life with parents that love her.
