Aliyah comes from a big family; aside from her sister Jenna Ortega who starred in the 2022 slasher film "Scream," she has five other siblings. She was born on July 23, 2004, and has a twin brother named Markus, who is a minute older than her.

Aliyah is an animal lover; she has two turtles and two dogs as pets. Though the turtles don't have names, one of her dogs is Anna, and the other is Romeo.

Aliyah Ortega Excelled in School & Now Pursues Her Dream in College

Aliyah studied at La Quinta High School and graduated summa cum laude from her class of 2022 together with her twin brother. Her mother, Natalie Ortega, shared photos of her children on Instagram, celebrating their milestone. She captioned:

"In a blink of an eye. My babies are grown. I’m so proud of you both and love you more than words can say. Class of 2022."

After graduating from high school, Aliyah joined California State University in Long Beach to pursue nursing. Besides succeeding in academics, Aliyah has also participated in and excelled in extracurricular activities.

She began with Karate and did it for a while, then proceeded to Baton twirling for almost a year, but later dropped it. She then participated in competitive cheer and soccer for seven years. While in high school, Aliyah also participated in track and cross country.

Aliyah Ortega Aspires to Build a Family of Her Own in the Future

Even though Aliyah was single at the time of her TikTok posting, she admitted that she did like someone. The 18-year-old dreams of someday having a family of her own. Though now, she enjoys being an aunt to her nephews and niece.

Aliyah revealed that she wanted to have two or three kids and hoped that her first child would be a boy, followed by a girl. She jokingly said that she wished her future son would be a basketball player.

At a young age, Aliyah seems to be a growing social media influencer. At the time of this writing, she has 156k followers on her Instagram page and 231k followers on TikTok, with over 1.9 million likes.
