Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have three beautiful daughters, James, Inez, and Betty. The couple is currently expecting a fourth child. The world came to know in September 2022 when Lively debuted her baby bump on the red carpet.
Reynolds, who enjoys being a girl dad, is always eager to talk about their "wild" bunch. James was named for Reynold's father who passed away just after she was born in December 2014. Inez, who was born in September 2016, has an affinity for the villain in any story. And Betty, born in October 2019, was named after Lively's paternal grandmother.

Reynolds and Lively try their best to keep their children from being photographed. They want to protect their girls and afford them the space to have an ordinary childhood. Speaking about how they are raising their children, Reynolds said:
"Now that they're in school, they have a somewhat normal schedule. I think it's totally important for their development and I really enjoy being a present dad."
Though she concedes that public scrutiny and media attention is part of her chosen career, Lively maintains that her children had no choice in who their parents are. She does her best to shield her daughters and to advocate against the media taking photos of celebrities' children.
Reynolds reported that his girls were ready to be big sisters. Having grown up with just brothers, he said boys are destructive, leaning towards arson and other means of destroying his property. Instead, he would prefer that the fourth be a girl because he has had lots of practice raising girls with his other three.
The actor sees his family as his primary focus and organizes other parts of his life to fit around it.
But the couple and the world will have to wait until the baby is born to find out the gender. Either way, Reynolds and Lively enjoy being parents and are excited to expand their family.
Cooking and Taking Care of the Children
"The Green Lantern" co-stars have the parenting thing down, often taking care of their first three without help. From the time they are born, children require a lot of attention and care at the expense of their caregiver's comfort and sleep. Speaking about that phase, Reynolds gushed:
"I have no problem waking up five times in the middle of the night and changing diapers, and as exhausted as you get, I have this stupid grin on my face all the time.”
The "Deadpool" star says he is shocked at how patient he can now be, one of the great benefits of fatherhood. The actor sees his family as his primary focus and organizes other parts of his life to fit around it. Before his kids were in school, he and his wife were careful to stagger their projects so there was a parent present at home.

On her side, Lively also puts their children first. Superstardom aside, she takes time to do old-fashioned mom roles like cooking for her children and caring for them. She loves to bake and is an adventurous and skilled cook. The actress tackles work tasks after her little ones are settled in bed for the night.
Lively says her husband is her best friend and she couldn't see living her life without him by her side.
The working mom is "obsessed" with her family and wants to set an example for her daughters so that they can pursue the life they choose when they grow up. She takes every opportunity be creative and explore new projects outside of acting.
