Paul Ratliff Is a Licensed Family Therapist and Maggie Siff's Husband
Paul Ratliff, the husband of Maggie Siff, is a Brooklyn-based marriage and family therapist. He has held different positions in different fields and returned to college after getting married.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, Paul Ratliff had a varied career as an actor and later became a consultant and strategist. Ironically, Maggie Siff, who was raised by anti-consumerist parents, married him while he was advising capitalists.
With their daughter and pets, the couple leads a quiet life out of the spotlight, and neither currently has a social media presence. The jovial psychotherapist is rarely photographed with the TV actress.

Ratliff graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with a focus on film, video studies, and theatre at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, in 1988. He pledged at the Phi Beta Kappa fraternity and served as the school's West College president.
Between September 1995 and the end of 1997, he held the position of 'Understander' at E-lab. He administrated ethnographic research projects with commercial design applications in the automotive, beauty, electronic goods, and health industries.
From 1998, he was part of Sapient's research think tank and was in charge of research planning and projects. A former Sapient colleague said the "insights he brings from his research into how people use machines [are] quite uncanny, especially as they led to practical uses."

After four years at Sapient, Ratliff broke out on his own as a design strategist and innovation consultant, working with companies such as Johnson & Johnson. The consultant was also an actor at some point in his career, but little is known about that part of his life.
Like his wife Siff, who returned to higher education in her late 20s, the consultant embarked on a master's degree in counseling psychology from the Pacifica Graduate Institute in California in 2015, which he achieved in 2018.
As of January 2020, the licensed marriage and family therapist has a practice at the Erika Malm Collective in New York City. Though he still lists the collective as his place of employment, his profile is no longer available on their website.
Paul Ratliff Courted Maggie Siff via Email
Ratliff paid court to the actress over email, and they got married in October 2012. At the time, she was portraying one of TV's most infamous anti-heroines, Dr. Tara Knowles Teller, on "Sons of Anarchy," the wife of a motorcycle gang leader played by Charlie Hunnam.

A year into their marriage, known as the paper anniversary, the consultant gifted Siff a bound manuscript of their extensive electronic correspondence. She said that her husband laughs a lot and is "way better-natured" than her, adding that they have "such a good time."

Paul Ratliff Welcomed a Baby Girl with His Wife Maggie Siff
According to a news report, the then-39-year-old Siff announced her pregnancy by adding "future mom" to her Twitter bio, which has since been deactivated. The first time mom expressed her excitement to see Ratliff as a dad:
"He's going to be a great dad; I know he is. He is very, very sweet and fun, so he plays a lot of games, and he'll just make the baby laugh a lot."
The TV star had dairy cravings during her pregnancy, pining for pints of yogurt and ice cream. She, fortunately, completed filming "Sons of Anarchy" before showing, as her character had a twisted storyline with pregnancy. Siff and Ratliff had their first child together, Lucy Ratliff, on April 14, 2014.
The couple has lived in Los Angeles but is currently based in Brooklyn, residing in a "modest apartment" near Prospect Park. The Siff-Ratliff family unit is rounded off with a cat, Iris, and Augie, their shaggy 80-pound Labradoodle.
