Bryce Young's Parents 'Don't Step on any Toes' - Facts about Them

Bryce Young's parents have been instrumental in his career. They spotted his passion for sports and have supported him through the years. Despite Bryce being in his early twenties, he has made a huge milestone as a football quarterback.

While Bryce's dad, Craig Young, is an experienced sports coach, he is liberal but likes to pay attention to how Bryce plays in the field though he prefers staying behind the scenes. He and his wife have given their son the freedom to do his own thing, and they don't step on any toes.

Bryce Young's parents are supportive and rarely miss any of his games. His parents always occupy the front seats whenever Bryce plays. In an interview, they said they were proud of their son's milestones.

Bryce Young's Parents Have Been Together for Nearly 30 Years

Bryce's parents, Craig and Julie Young, tied the knot on July 29, 1995, and to date, they remain together in a solid marriage. The couple welcomed their only child Bryce on July 25, 2001, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, six years after marriage.

Even after many years of marriage, Bryce's parents are still in love, as seen in Craig's Twitter post. In 2020, Bryce's dad paid a sweet tribute to his wife and said he was glad to celebrate 25 years of marrying his best friend and the most genuine person he's ever met. In a captivating Twitter post, he stated:

"Truly beautiful inside and out. I don’t know what I have done to deserve these 25 years, but Julie, I thank God for you every day!"

Bryce parents know their child best. Whether their son is in the field or at home, he's always calm and collected, a personality he took after his mother. His father described him as a starter and a champion and competitive in everything, whether playing football or video games.

Bryce young's parents have played a massive role in making him who he is today. His father has been there for him as a parent, friend, coach, and therapist.

Bryce parents regularly attend his games and are his number one fans. In September 2022, when Bryce left the football field after suffering from a shoulder injury, his parents were there to support him. Though Alabama coach Nick Saban didn't consider the injury serious, his parents still left their seats to be by his side.

Bryce Young's Father Helped Him Take Care of His Mental Health

Bryce's father was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania but grew up in Harbor City, California. He is a licensed therapist who likes to inspire people by sharing his journey. He has worked as a mental health specialist for over two decades.

He graduated with Bachelor's in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and attained his Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College. While growing up, Bryce's father became passionate about sports, mostly basketball.

Because of his love for sports, Bryce's father became a youth sports coach for over ten years. Aside from his regular job, he's a public speaker and has done several interviews on different media outlets. Bryce's father is supportive; his son said he always pushes him to be better and feels lucky to have him as a father.

While Bryce succeeds as an Alabama football quarterback, he has made his mental health a top priority, thanks to his father, who has always been there to guide him. Bryce gives his dad a lot of credit for more of his accomplishments.

On the other hand, Craig said that the best privilege of being Bryce's dad is having a personal relationship of mutual trust with his son.

Because of his experience in sports coaching, Bryce's father knows what it takes to raise a successful athlete. During an interview aired on Youtube, he shared some strategies that have helped his son succeed in sports.

Bryce Young Has His Mother's Personality

While Bryce's father has an active social media presence, his mother is less public and isn't active on social media. She has a great personality and is a blessing to her husband. As per Craig's Twitter post, Julie was born on May 4, and she likes listening to singer Sade, he favorite song is "Kiss of Life."

Bryce took after his mother's personality. In an interview, Craig said that Bryce's cool and calm personality comes from Julie. He also stated that he has a temper, and Bryce didn't get that from him.

Bryce Young's Parents Let Him Do His Thing

Bryce's dad introduced him to football at a young age. He spotted a talent in him and decided to nature it. At age five, Bryce's dad hired quarterback coach Tim Arthus to train his son.

At the time, Bryce's mother was skeptical about the arrangement and thought Craig was wasting money, bearing that their son was just a young boy. But everything was worth the sacrifice, as it prepared Bryce for something bigger. Their son is now a celebrated football quarterback.
