Michelle Rodriguez's Dating History Includes Both Men and Women
Michelle Rodriguez's dating life has been the subject of headlines for nearly decades since she entered the Hollywood spotlight. She had many brief flings with other stars and was once willing to start a family with one of her former beaus.
During a 2013 chat with Entertainment Weekly, longtime actress Michelle Rodriguez touched on the subject of her love life and sexuality. The "Fast and Furious" star remarked about the public scrutiny and curiosity she faced regarding those aspects of her life.
She added that what likely sparked this curiosity was that she rarely, if ever, appeared with a date on the red carpet. Rodriguez also regularly played "butch characters," leading to assumptions about possibly a queer identity.

She laughed before saying they "weren't too far off." Although she didn't label herself during the interview, her following statements led fans and the public alike to assume she was coming out of the closet, as she said:
"I've gone both ways. I do as I please. I am too [expletive] curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks."
In May 2014, the Hollywood star admitted to her bisexual identity but said she didn't care much about external opinions. Still, she acknowledged the gravity of her coming out and how it might inspire others to live in their truth openly.

Before Rodriguez was open about her sexual identity like other Hollywood stars, including Ellen DeGeneres and Sam Smith, she had already been romantically linked to both men and women in the early 2000s.
However, she also had several run-ins with the law, building a rather "wayward reputation" for herself in that regard. It once stood in the way of realizing her dream of motherhood with a former flame before she ended that relationship herself.
Moreover, a source close to Rodriguez once attributed her lack of commitment and previously unruly behavior to coming from a "broken family." Her parents had separated when she was young. Still, Rodriguez continued seeking love.

Vin Diesel
Rodriguez dated Vin Diesel shortly after they met on the set of "Fast and Furious." Before she admitted to their romance, the pair were seen enjoying dates on several occasions. While this garnered excitement among fans, it wasn't long before they separated.
Rodriguez opened up about the relationship during a 2002 interview, confessing that Diesel's raspy voice attracted her. She also appreciated that he wasn't a "jerk" and said that particular quality made her open to the possibility of their friendship.

Olivier Martinez
Rodriguez was romantically linked to Halle Berry's ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, in 2003. However, after they were spotted kissing, their representatives claimed they were only good friends. Rumors of the pair rekindling their romance sparked again in 2019.
Martinez and Rodriguez enjoyed a lunch date in March of that year at Gjelina in Los Angeles. After finishing at the popular restaurant, they drove away on Martinez's motorcycle. The nature of their relationship was unclear at the time, but the two appeared friendly during their date.

Lenny Kravitz
Though it's unclear which New Year's Eve, Rodriguez attended a party with Lenny Kravitz, and the pair were said to be flirting throughout the night. Rodriguez was reportedly so intoxicated she jumped into a pool naked. However, Kravitz never confirmed their assumed romance.
Kristanna Loken
New York native Kristanna Loken is a model and actress best known for starring in the action film "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines." She and Rodriguez collaborated on the 2005 action fantasy "BloodRayne," where the pair developed a close bond.
During a 2006 interview, Loken hinted at her romance with Rodriguez; however, she didn't explicitly confirm. A source close to Rodriguez said Loken was prepared to go public with their relationship, but the former actress wasn't ready, so she ended it.

Cara Delevingne
Rodriguez met supermodel and actress Cara Delevingne in January 2014, and the pair started dating shortly after. By the next month, the insider to whom Rodriguez allegedly confided told the Daily Mail she thought Delevingne was "the one."
The "BloodRayne" star was so positive about her connection with Delevingne that, despite their 14-year age gap, she was ready to start a family with her. There were even rumors of wedding plans; however, Delevingne's family wasn't too keen on the matter.

They thought Rodriguez was a negative influence on their daughter and were aware of her reputation with the law. She had served jail time for DUI and other offenses several times, and a former flame, Louise Ward, once took her to court for attacking her. Luckily, Ward dropped the charges.
Delevingne was also smitten with Rodriguez, but as her modeling career skyrocketed, she started spending more time with the likes of Rita Ora, Rihanna, and Suki Waterhouse. It drove a wedge in her bond with Rodriguez, who eventually ended their relationship that May.

Zac Efron
Rodriguez had a brief fling with "Dirty Grandpa" star Zac Efron during the summer of 2014. The pair were spotted enjoying a vacation on a yacht in Ibiza, Spain, with an eyewitness claiming they were "very close and comfortable" with each other.
The sighting sparked massive curiosity among fans, as they were previously seen kissing on another yacht in Italy. They also enjoyed horseback rides. It was clear the two were having fun, but they never officially confirmed their romance.
Yet a couple of weeks after their Ibiza holiday, Efron and Rodriguez were no more. Efron had reportedly developed intense feelings for Rodriguez, but she ended the romance because he was "too serious" for her.
