It doesn't seem like Vella Lovell has a husband yet. However, she appears to be in a relationship and is allegedly dating fellow "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" actor John Garet Stoker.

Lovell began acting at an early age and had extensive acting training, which saw her graduate from the prestigious Juilliard School and New York University. After making her film debut in 2012, she rose to fame when she portrayed Heather in "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" beginning in 2015.

The rise in fame made more fans curious about her private life. Very little is known about her personal life. In terms of her love life, her Instagram page suggests that she has been in two relationships since 2016. However, none of those two alleged relationships were officially confirmed and are just subject to speculation.

Vella Lovell May Be Dating Another 'Crazy Ex-girlfriend' Actor

Although it's not a confirmed thing, Lovell is thought to be dating John Garet Stoker. It is unclear when their alleged relationship may have started, but the posts about Stoker go as far back as March 2019. The rumor stemmed from Lovell's Instagram posts in which she has dedicated several of them to the actor.

In the captions, she has called him sweet words such as "my love" or "my favorite person," perhaps her way of letting fans know she is off the market. On Valentine's day in 2020, Stoker was photographed laying his head on a cat with a funny caption that read:

"Happy Valentines to these wonderful boys who didn’t at all have to be forced into this photo."

Stoker has been acting for quite some time. Perhaps his most significant role was when he portrayed Connor in the mystery television series, "Eye Candy." The show was screened on MTV, and Stoker appeared in eight episodes in 2015.

Furthermore, the actor has made minor appearances in other TV productions such as "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" alongside Lovell, "Code Black" in 2019, and "Insecure" in 2021. Despite 2023 having just begun, the Stoker has already appeared in "CSI: Vegas."

Vella Lovell Was Only Linked to One Person in the Past

In another case of Instagram posts that influenced a rumor about Lovell's love life, between 2016 and 2017, there was speculation that she was dating fellow actor Michael Braun. Photos of the pair hanging out are on their social media pages.

The images also had captions that suggested that they were in a relationship. On one occasion in 2017, Lovell posted a picture of the two on a beach and a message saying, "It's my boo's Birthday ~ ~ I love you."

Braun, like Stoker, also appears to be a small-time actor, as he has mostly had minor roles in the movies and television series he featured. His first film credit was "Dare" from 2009, and arguably, the most notable project he has been in was "The Blacklist," in which he portrayed Bahar alongside well-known actors James Spader and Alan Alda.

Vella Lovell Stars as Adorable and Awkward Emily Price in "Animal Control"

In 2022, it was announced that Lovell, who has previously starred in the Tina Fey-created "Mr. Mayor," had been cast as one of the regular stars to appear in a new workplace comedy series, "Animal Control." The series is set to premiere on Fox on February 16, 2023.

The straight-to-series comedy follows a team of Animal Control workers living complicated lives. Their lives are complicated "by the fact that animals are simple, but humans are not."

Lovell, who appears alongside more established actor Joel McHale, plays the role of Emily. The character represents a sweet-natured boss who seems to be struggling to do her job correctly but is popular among her team members at the Animal Control precinct.

The series joins an already fiercely contested primetime landscape, but there is optimism that it will be one of the more hilarious comedies available in 2023. The series has been described as a combination of the exceptional writing seen in the popular series, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "Parks and Recreation."
