Meet Skye Westbrook, One of Russell Westbrook's Twins

Little Skye Westbrook and her twin, Jordyn, are the daughters of Lakers player and nine-time NBA All-Star Russel Westbrook and his wife, WNBA player Nina Earl.

Russell Westbrook is the proud father of three children, a boy, Noah, and identical twin girls, Skye Westbrook and Jordyn Westbrook, whom he shares with his wife, Nina Earl Westbrook.

Even though she is still tiny, Skye Westbrook is already a fan favorite. Every time her parents share photos of her on social media, she receives thousands of approving comments.

Skye Westbrook doesn't know it yet, but her dad is a big NBA star, and that's how Russell wants it to be. He spoke about his love for his family in an interview and said:

"I'm a dad first and not a basketball player or anything else that I do. That's the most important part to me — to make sure that being a father, husband and a family man is more important than anything else."

Russell and Nina married in 2015 and welcomed their first child, Noah, on May 16, 2017. On November 17, 2018, the couple welcomed twin baby girls, Skye and Jordyn Westbrook, into their family.

Skye Westbrook's Mom Was a Basketball Player Too

Russell Westbrook is a nine-time NBA All-Star and is considered one of the best point guards of all time, but what fans may not know is that Nina Earl Westbrook is also a talented basketball player.

Russell and Nina paid a sweet tribute to Skye, Jordyn, and Noah Westbrook by getting matching tattoos of their children's names.

Nina Earl and Russell met in college at UCLA, where she played basketball for the Bruins. She started playing basketball in high school and competing in track and field events. Nina's high school basketball team won two consecutive California Interscholastic Federation titles in 2003 and 2007.

Russell joined the NBA as a pro player in 2008 and didn't finish college. Still, Nina earned a Master's in Clinical Psychology and worked as a Marriage and Family Life Therapist.

Nina is a therapist, a businesswoman, and the mother of three active children. Her oldest, Noah, was born in 2017, and a year later, she gave birth to Skye and her twin sister, Jordyn.

From 2008 to 2019, Russell played for Oklahoma City Thunder, and the couple was based in Oklahoma, where their children were born. Still, from 2020 to 2023, the family moved three times, first to Houston, then to Washington, and finally to Los Angeles. Russel paid tribute to Nina, saying:

"I do think that it should be acknowledged and you [Nina] should be proud of that. Just to sacrifice and through all these years, of so many different changes, and a lot of the changes honestly have been based around me and my career."

Skye Westbrook Is One of Twin Daughters

The Westbrooks had a one-year-old when they embarked on their second pregnancy, which was a little more than they bargained for. They welcomed twin baby girls, Skye and Jordyn, and Noah became a big brother.

Nina revealed that Russell is a hands-on dad and always up early and last to bed to help with the children. The basketball player confessed:

"[Being a father] That to me is what I'm most proud of. And taking 'em to school, picking them up, that to me keeps me whole and it keeps me going."

Skye and Jordyn Westbrook Are Always on Their Parents' Social Media

Fans of the basketball player have gotten to know the Westbrook children through their presence on their parents' social media. Nina often shares sweet posts featuring Skye and Jordyn, and Noah, one of them showing the family enjoying the snow up in the mountains.

In another post, Nina shared a photo of Russell playing basketball with Skye, Jordyn, and Noah. An end-of-summer post showed Russell in the pool with the three kids, who were riding an inflatable unicorn.

Russell and Nina paid a sweet tribute to Skye, Jordyn, and Noah Westbrook by getting matching tattoos of their children's names. It is the basketball player's first tattoo ever.
