Karis Schneider is the daughter of a famous actor. Even though Karis did not follow in her father's footsteps, she is multi-talented and has proved herself in different fields.

Despite being the daughter of a celebrated actor, Karis is successful in her own right. Besides participating in CrossFit games, Karis loves handcrafting and can turn anything into something beautiful.

Karis is an active-duty firefighter; aside from that, she is passionate about sustainability and the beauty of the earth. Even though Karis' parents divorced, she has a close bond with her famous father, and she is the only biological daughter of Elly Castle and John Schneider.

Karis Schneider Appeared in a Film with Her Parents

Karis was born in 1993 to Elly Castle and John Schneider. Even though Karis now pursues a different career, she once appeared in the 2006 action/adventure film "Collier & Co" playing Danielle alongside her parents.

Before Karis was born, John wanted to be a father, so he adopted Castle's three other children whom she had from previous relationships. Unfortunately, Karis' parents divorced in 2019 after being together for over two decades.

Since John and Castle went their separate ways, they agreed to have an amicable divorce for the sake of their children.

Karis' father once spent three days in jail for failure to pay spousal support on time. According to reports, "The Smallville" actor had been instructed by the Judge to settle spousal support with Castle and was given a March deadline which he failed to abide by. In addition to the jail term, John had to do 240 hours of community service.

Despite Karis' father having a successful Hollywood career, she chose a different path. She is passionate about saving lives, and as a result, she became a firefighter. Her father often gives her a shout-out on social media.

Karis is proactive in her work at the Santa Monica Fire Department. She and Aurora Paaluhi, her paramedic partner, have brought to life an approach to appropriately respond to 911 calls from mentally ill people and how to deal with them.

Karis Has Set Up Her Eco-Business

In 2014 and 2015, Karis participated in the women's cross-fit challenge, and on the global table, she was ranked 2329th and 1938th, respectively. Also, in 2014, Karis participated in "Steve Austin's Broken Skull Challenge" show.

In the show, Austin invites the eight best athletes to his ranch every week to compete in a head-to-head battle, and the participant whose left standing qualifies to take Austin's obstacle course for a chance to win $10,000.

When Karis is not saving lives, she is handcrafting. She developed a creative hobby from a passion for sustainability. She creates unique coasters by using natural materials like feathers, wood, and sea shells.

Karis' Relationship with Her Father after Her Parents' Divorce

Even though John has been divorced twice, he values and adores his children. In an interview, he revealed that his children were the reason why he accepted to play Jacob in "October Baby." He stated he knew what it was like to disappoint a teenage daughter, and that experience taught him to balance work and fatherhood.

Even though Karis' parents are on good terms now, her father admitted that their divorce affected his relationship with his children. John's relationship with his adult children deteriorated, and he felt sad that they wouldn't attend his performances.

In recent years, John admitted that he and Castle were on good terms, and he could see his children anytime. Since John and Castle went their separate ways, they agreed to have an amicable divorce for the sake of their children.
