In 2016, Tan shared a lovely black-and-white snap of himself and Emi Renata in Barcelona, Spain. But shortly after that, it seems as if the romance ended, and they never appeared on social media together again.

In 2022, Tan guested on the reality series "Bling Empire," and before long, speculation linked him to the flamboyant Kim Lee, who is often called the "Asian Kim Kardashian."

The two quickly revealed an incredible chemistry on camera, and Lee blushingly refused to comment on her attraction for the British actor.

Lee might have been hesitant to reveal her feelings, but some "Bling Empire" fans endorsed the romance wholeheartedly on Twitter, while others disagreed, and felt that Tan was "too cute and sweet" for the reality star.

"I’m not in the same place for very long. I can be somewhere for six months, and then I’ll be in a different country for another six months. Sometimes I’m not even home for 80% of the year."

The actor revealed that for him, love is not about constant glamour; its about understanding, acceptance, and sometimes, sacrifice. He admitted that he is looking for someone sufficiently secure to withstand the stress and hype of dating a celebrity.
