John Schneider Shares a Dream He Had of Late Wife Alicia a Week after Her Death
John Schneider's wife, Alicia Allain, sadly succumbed to cancer just over a week ago on February 21. The actor has publicly expressed his hurt on multiple occasions and revealed that he dreamed about his now-deceased lover, manager, and business partner.
John Schneider had written a saddening tribute to his late wife, Alicia Allain, a week after she passed. The "Dukes of Hazzard" star revealed that he dreamed of walking around the studio holding Alicia's hand.
The actor continued to detail the moments he shared with his deceased wife during his vivid dream before cutting to the part where he woke up, and all of those priceless scenes were left in his sleep. John has used social media to communicate with fans invested in their marriage and as an outlet for grief.
The actor broke the news of Alicia's passing on Facebook when he posted a photo of the producer in better health and a photo of them holding hands while her health was far worse. He poured his heart out in the caption, which spoke about Alicia being pain-free in her new body next to Jesus.
In this time of grief, John pleads with the public to give him and Alicia's loved ones the space to mourn, with a special request that people not ask too many questions or any at all. He concluded his caption by saying, "Lastly… hug those you love tight and let them know how you feel. We always did."
Schneider Continues to Grieve the Death of Alicia
John has been emotionally pained by the loss of his wife, Alicia, and continues to feel the agony. Two days after he lost Alicia, the actor took to social media, airing his "unimaginable sorrow." He wrote a heartfelt caption for the deceased producer, saying that pain, grief, and love are too small a word to describe his feelings.
He opened up about his continued grieving three days later when he posted a picture of himself sharing a kiss with Alicia. The caption revealed that the actor longs for the producer "desperately." John and Alicia walked down the aisle with previous partners before they married in September 2019.
Before they found love, Alicia married Patrick Dollard, and John tied the knot with Tawny Little and Elvira Schneider in that order. The producer, who died on February 21 in Holden, is well known for working on projects like "Leather Jackets" in 2001, "The Badge" in 2002, and "Auto Focus" starring Jack Dafoe's father, William Dafoe.
Most of Alicia's works in Hollywood were in a behind-the-scene position, with 19 projects as a producer under her belt and two more that were in the works before her demise. She has only five roles as an actress and 11 credits for work in the make-up department.
Alicia was born in Brusly, Louisiana, on July 14, 1969, making her roughly 53 years at the time of her death. She was a mother of one child conceived in her five-year marriage with Patrick.
Alicia and John worked closely together, producing over 100 songs and several films in their time together. John rested easy knowing that his manager was also his lover, with a wealth of experience in film.
The actor was by her side in 2020 when they revealed on "Fox and Friends"—co-hosted by Ainsley Earhardt, rumored to be in a relationship with Sean Hannity—that she was diagnosed with stage 4 HER2 negative cancer.
Alicia chose keto to manage and possibly turn her health around, launching a CBD oil company as they learned about the benefits during her treatment. They named their company CBoD oil, paying homage to John's "Dukes of Hazzard" character Bo Duke.
