Jennifer Coolidge got onto the cover of W Magazine with a geek-friendly photo shoot for which she considered herself "the wrong muse." The actress initially questioned whether she was the personality the photo shoot organizers were gunning for, simply doubting she was the first choice.

She's seen in super-woman imagery, towering over the opposition, robots, monsters, and buildings. Some of the "cool" photos show the actress as seemingly the leader of the Power Rangers. All this follows her outstanding awards-show-sweeping year.

Although Jennifer initially did not understand the Japanese film concept photo shoot, she eventually came around to the finished product and thanked the people behind it, saying:

"How unbelievably cool are these photos?! Thank you to them, photographer @Lenneigh, @SaraMoonves, and the entire team at W for letting me live out my Godzilla / Rita Repulsa fantasy! Wow!!"

Her famous peers were also in awe of the magazine photos and showed her love in the comments. Vanessa Hudgens said, "Iconicc," Sabrina Carpenter said, "Incredible," Mia Farrow also gave her approval, and Luke Sage declared Jennifer royalty!

Coolidge Took Part in a Photo Session with 'Everything, Everywhere All at Once' Directors

Recently, Jennifer has been an awards ceremony darling, receiving praise for her Emmy, Critics Choice, and Golden Globe Award-winning performance in "The White Lotus." For a photoshoot, the actress teamed up with the director-duo, Daniels, of "Everything Everywhere All at Once," starring resuscitated actor Ke Huy Quan.

She posed as a superhero in combat during the many "Power Rangers"-resemblant shots. The photo shoot was a homage to 'tokusatsu,' a Japanese film genre known for low-level special effects that opened the doors for films like 1998's "Godzilla" starring Jennifer Grey's once-undercover-lover Matthew Broderick.

Speaking about her collaboration with the producers, Jennifer said she felt she was working with little children, who are, in fact, relatively new to Hollywood. "They were like these sort of child prodigies who are super, super smart and just super creative," she said in a W Magazine interview.

Jennifer was excited about the opportunity to use weaponry and fill in a hero role, something she had never done in all her years of acting. She deemed the tokusatsu movie scene-styled photo shoot one of the best things she has ever participated in.

During the W Magazine interview about the niche project, Jennifer also touched on her character from "White Lotus," Tanya, saying that she felt sorry for lacking faith in herself and not acknowledging her worth—reportedly hinting at her journey as an actress.

In addition to Jennifer's well-received performance in "White Lotus," the actress left the Screen Actors Guild Awards with another trophy in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series category.

Jennifer paid homage to her father, who inadvertently gave her acting dreams life during her acceptance speech. While reflecting on her "special year," the actress thanked Mike White and approved the part he had written for her.

"I want you all to know that I'm just so grateful. So grateful because this could be it," she continued, reassuring her gratitude and suggesting that the end of anything is always looming.

The actress has had a fair share of bodily alterations throughout her career and once expressed regret about the plastic surgery work she had done on herself.
