Nick Carter Proves There's No DNA Needed as His Daughters Sing 'Frozen' Song in a New Video
After a rocky journey to parenthood, The Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter is a proud father to a son and two daughters — the latter proved they inherited their father's musical genes. During an interview, the famous singer revealed his hopes for his children to enjoy their childhood, unlike him.
In 2023, Nick shared a video of his adorable daughters twirling in gowns as they belted the "Let It Go" lyrics from "Frozen." "My girls are having a singing party back home," the famous singer captioned the post.
With over twenty thousand likes at the time of writing, the video of Nick's little girls proved a talent for singing ran in the family as fans took to the comments section to compliment Nick's daughters' vocals.
One person shared, "DNA does not deny, listen to this little girl's voice, there's another singer in the house." A second wrote, "The Carter genes are very strong. Musical talent is inevitable, their daddy is a musical legend."
Nick Carter Is a Parent of 3
Nick first became a father when his wife, Lauren Kitt Carter, gave birth to their son, Odin Reign Carter, on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Nick and his wife were honored with a "Game of Thrones" themed baby shower and regularly took to social media to document their baby watch in anticipation of baby Odin.
In 2019, Nick and his wife became parents for the second time when they welcomed their daughter. However, the birth of their second child proved to be a bittersweet moment as it followed the loss of one of their babies.
After sharing the news of their miscarriage, Nick canceled one of his shows, unable to perform, and his wife took to social media to share:
"As a woman, I am supposed to create life, and failing to do so feels like a failure as a human. I accept circumstances out of our control, and I've moved on from my losses."
Nick's family of three was completed in 2021 when his youngest daughter was born; the experience was also not smooth sailing as it was preceded by complications. However, Nick's wife gave birth to a healthy baby.
After welcoming all three of his children, the former Backstreet Boys member revealed his hopes and dreams for his children. "I have so many hopes and dreams for my children and my family; the one thing, it's so silly. I want to see them go to college. Just a normal life," Nick Carter said.
