Ashley Tisdale went from a young actress on the rise to one with a successful career and a first-time mom. While she shares pictures of her adorable daughter on social media, Ashley Tisdale also turns to the platform to talk about the not-often-shared hardships that come with motherhood.

On March 5, Tisdale took to Instagram to share a picture of her and her daughter that tugged at the heartstrings. The "The Suit Life of Zack and Cody" actress wore a burnt orange one-piece as she held her daughter, Jupiter, in her arms.

As her little one rested her head on mom's shoulder, Tisdale captioned the post, "My little best friend." "So cute!! She's looking just like you every day," one person wrote, as another typed, "She looks just like you, beautiful."

A third shared, "Such an iconic mother-daughter duo," and another user said, "She's your twin." It was not the first time Jupiter has appeared on her mother's social media, as the actress often shares snaps of her and her mini-me, including one of them enjoying a trip to the beach.

Ashley Has Been an Open Book When It Comes to the Struggles of Motherhood

While Tisdale takes to Instagram to share sweet moments between her and her daughter, she also uses the social media platform to speak about her struggles with motherhood.

In December 2022, Tisdale shared that she was seeking more parenting book recommendations from fellow parents and revealed that while she had read a lot about birth, she needed more knowledge about what to do after the baby had arrived.

In September of that same year, the actress shared a candid picture of herself with a tear-stained face in the bath tub, and in the caption, she wrote:

"I wanted to share this because I think it's important to show the parts we don't share that often. I cried in the tub because the journey of motherhood can be hard. I wanted to share this because I think it's important to show the parts we don't share that often."

Despite Tisdale's relatable challenges as a mother, the actress revealed that she prioritized taking care of herself and maintaining a balance between her professional life and motherhood.

Aside from taking care of her mental health and having a schedule in place, the "High School Musical" actress— co-starring Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens—also shared, "I do think that it's important to be real and honest and educate people."
