Joanna Gaines Proudly Shares Clip of ‘Little Artist’ Son Crew Who Loves to Paint & Make Art

Joanna Gaines, one half of the "Fixer Upper" couple, took to Instagram to showcase her son's passion for art and the outdoors when she shared a glimpse of some of his favorite activities. The youngest of five siblings, Joanna had Crew nearly a decade after her older children.

Little Crew was a picture of an artist at work in his mother's photos on Instagram of him sitting in their backyard and drawing their neatly planted daffodils. In the caption of the Instagram post, Joanna revealed that Crew felt inspired by the flowers as he sat in a chair with paper and drawing tools in hand.

The mother of five also included snaps of Crew with the daffodils in hand in the short video; however, Crew held up the multiple-colored bouquet, which obstructed fans' view of his face. In the comments section of the post, which received over a hundred thousand likes at the time of writing, social media users gushed about how Crew was an old soul.

"Stop growing up so fast, Crew," one person wrote as another commented, "Would love to see his work!" A third person humorously said, "I need an apprentice, send him over after he's done."

In previous Instagram posts, Joanna shared more videos of Crew drawing away, including a project he had worked on for his father in honor of his birthday.

Aside from drawing, Joanna has captured Crew gardening daffodils, anemones, and tulips and revealed that his favorite part was to "pet and smell" the flowers. Crew also kept busy playing outdoors and climbing trees. In the caption of an Instagram post, his mom shared:

"He woke up this morning and said he wanted to be a "tire man," and then he changed his mind and wanted to be a butterfly catcher, and that turned into becoming a fire maker. This little guy makes life fun."

After tying the knot in 2003, Joanna Gaines and Chip Gaines welcomed the eldest of their children, Drake, in 2005. According to his mom, the teenager has shown an interest in the family business and enjoys spending time on the set of their TV show.

Their daughter, Ella Rose, was born in 2006, and their second son, Duke, followed two years later. In 2010, Joanna gave birth to her fourth child, Emmie Kay, before welcoming Crew in 2018.
