She's also renowned for her role as Porpentina "Tina" Goldstein in the "Fantastic Beasts" film franchise alongside Eddie Redmayne. In all those years, Waterston mostly kept her love life to herself.

It's unclear when her romance with Rapp began or ended, but the only known detail is that it lasted six years. The former lovers collaborated on many productions, including "The Hallway Trilogy" plays, which debuted in February 2011.

A few months before, Waterston had shared a photo of herself and Kirby social distancing and wearing face masks while volunteering at the charity organization SpareHand. Waterston donned blue flare-leg jeans with a white loose-fitting tucked-in t-shirt.

Her partner, sporting black three-quarter jeans and a tucked black top, stood to her her side. Alongside the photo, Waterston wrote that one could never "mask true love," perhaps alluding to their onscreen romance. She concluded her caption by saying nothing was more fun than volunteering with Kirby.
