The "Dukes of Hazzard" star, John Schneider, has been grieving the death of his wife, Alicia Allain, lately, and on March 16, almost a month after her death, the actor's wounds were still raw. As he did after her passing, the actor aired his pain on Facebook, detailing his feelings in words.

He shared a picture of himself with Allain at what seemed to be a restaurant. The lovers matched with black tops and looked overjoyed to be spending time over a meal. For Schneider, time has been moving slowly since Allain's passing.

The actor poured his heart out in the caption of his Facebook tribute, exposing his inability to move on. "My sweet love, the days continue to drag on. It seems as if it now takes a week for a day to go by. [The only] good side to this is that my love for you continues to grow each and every day," he wrote.

Schneider added that he heard deep grief is the price one pays for being in love and then continued to confirm that he accepts the grief wholeheartedly, as he would not trade loving Allain. "The void left by you is indescribable. The silence in our home is deafening," the actor said directly to Allain.

Within all of the grief the movie star detailed in his lengthy tribute, he mentioned that he did not want to be the deceased producer's only cause of concern in her afterlife and wrote that he would eventually feel okay, as he had told her he would.

Allain passed away on February 21, and her husband broke the news without initially revealing her cause of death or the date she passed. However, her obituary disclosed the date and that she had her last moments in the presence of her family.

Upon announcing on Facebook, Schneider pleaded with the public to give him and the deceased's family the privacy to process their loss. He tied the knot with Allain in 2019. The "Dukes of Hazzard" star has chosen to deal with the loss publicly like he did a few days after he announced her passing.

"I simply have no words but… I miss you desperately, Mrs. Schneider," he wrote in the caption of a Facebook post with a picture of them kissing. He has detailed his emotions in a few other posts on Facebook, reacting to the loss of his lover, who died at 53.

Allain was a producer credited for having a hand in the creation of films such as "Anderson Bench" with her husband, "Lush" with Marc Shauer's wife Laura Linney, and "The Badge" with Nicolas Cage's ex-wife Patricia Arquette, to name a few.

She has also done much work in various projects' makeup and costume departments and boasted a handful of acting credits. The actress leaves behind one child she welcomed with her first husband, Patrick Dollard.
