- Shannen Doherty shows up with the "Charmed" cast.
- She has her eyebrows enhanced after losing them due to cancer treatment.
- Doherty shared her current state of health.
On March 12, 2023, Shannen Doherty updated her fans on her current look by being tagged in an Instagram picture of a before and after of the procedure she had. The post was uploaded by Tiàgo Sampaio, who did work on the actress in Beverly Hills, California.
On his Instagram page, he was known as the Eyebrow King, and he described himself as a micro pigmentation expert, an international educator, a medical esthetician, and someone in cosmetology. In the first frame, Doherty lies face up with her eyebrows faded.

The second frame showed her after going through Sampaio's procedure with fuller eyebrows. In the post's caption, the professional revealed that he had the pleasure of meeting the star and enhancing the shape of her eyebrows.
He concluded his post by thanking her for trusting him and his team to do the work. Doherty lost part of her eyebrows after going through chemotherapy amid her fight against cancer.
Days later, the actress was seen physically at 90s Con 2023. The star participated in a panel discussion and reunited and posed with her former "Charmed" cast mates, who included Drew Fuller, Brian Krause, Dorian Gregory, Rose McGowan, and Holly Marie Combs.
Shannen Shows up in a Cap and High Heels with 'Charmed' Cast
During her appearance at the event held in Hartford, Connecticut, Doherty was dressed casually. The actress looked well and healthy in a black cap, a matching top, a jean jacket, jeans, and black high heels.

During the panel discussion, the actress spoke about Prue Halliwell, the character she once played on "Charmed" for the show's first three seasons. The star confessed that she related to her character's strength, saying:
"Prue was a very, very, very strong woman. I was a really strong woman. I played her as that."
Doherty said she thought she had a "definitive impression" on many younger women who watched the show. The star felt she'd inspired them to grow up with inner strength and the desire to help care for their families.
She noted how the show had been about empowering women outside and those who starred in it. Getting eyebrow treatment was probably part and parcel of how Doherty empowered herself, but not all the reception was good.

In the Instagram post about her eyebrow enhancement, Doherty explained that she struggled with her eyebrows after having chemotherapy. She described them as sparse and hadn't enjoyed filling them in each morning.

The star was "beyond thrilled" with Sampaio's work on her and confessed that the confidence boost was "priceless." The actress confirmed that the cosmetologist was, indeed, the "king" of his profession before sharing her appreciation and sending him love.
One person said Doherty "rocked" in the new eyebrows but felt that, in the end, the actress had rocked in everything she starred in and everything she did. Another fan shared how they'd gone through the same thing and how it was the best thing they did after surviving stage 4 cancer.
An Instagram user praised Sampaio saying, "Alll hail the kinggg." The fan said the cosmetologist had done an "amazing job," while "Touched By An Angel" actress Roma Downey loved the post by adding one red heart emoticon.

A fifth person shared that "enhanced" eyebrows stood out as "not being natural" as they made them question what was happening with the person's eyebrows. The follower felt they served as a distraction from the rest of that person, adding:
"They don’t subtly blend in and stand out too much imo."
Another fan described the actress as "beautiful as always" and their "Brenda [Walsh]," referring to the character the star once played on "Beverly Hills, 90210." The person said they'd grown up with Doherty, and she was an "amazing woman."

Someone else revealed they were considering the same procedure five years after their treatment. The fan said they were overthinking getting it and sent the actress well wishes for her health and wellness, which Doherty gave an update on.
Shannen Speaks up about Her State of Health
During 90s Con 2023, Doherty, then 51, was asked how she was doing, and she replied, "I'm feeling great, thank you!" The actress had spent the past few years getting ongoing stage 4 breast cancer treatment.

The star got her first breast cancer diagnosis in 2015, and then two years later, she was in remission. Sadly, in 2020, the actress revealed that the disease had returned; this time, it was stage 4.

The disease returned the year before, and since then, she's publicly shared all the ups and downs she's experienced with the treatment. In October 2021, in an Instagram post, Doherty confessed that it wasn't all pretty but truthful, while she hoped sharing her journey would help others be more educated and familiar with cancer.

The star hoped to encourage people to get regular checkups and mammograms so the fear wasn't as bad and they could face what was right before them. The actress said she didn't want people to think one was falling over, gray, couldn't move, couldn't work, or going into hospice when they heard the person had stage 4 cancer.
She felt people got written off quickly when diagnosed, even if they were healthy, vital, happy, and wishing to go out and work. The "List of a Lifetime" star said she felt she had a responsibility in her public life, which was separate from her acting one, to talk about the disease and educate people.
Doherty wanted people to know that stage 4 cancer patients were alive and quite active. The actress said her husband, Kurt Iswarienko, felt one wouldn't know that she had cancer. The actress, who married the photographer in 2011, shared how she never complained and didn't talk about it because it was now just a part of her life.
