Ex-Victoria's secret model Gisele Bündchen and ex-footballer Tom Brady have been in the headlines over the past few months because of the turmoil in their relationship, allegedly because of Brady's career choices.
There has been much speculation about why Brady and Bündchen decided to call their marriage off, but the model is finally clearing up all the rumors they faced during their divorce.

Bündchen and Brady were married for thirteen years but recently announced the dissolution of their marriage. The decision came after Brady retired from football and then decided to go back to the sport.
Many fans wondered if Brady's indecision surrounding his career was one of the reasons Bündchen had filed for divorce. Yet Bündchen was hurt by these accusations and said all she wanted was for her ex-husband to achieve all his dreams.
Bündchen supported Brady so much that she endeavored to make his professional life easier wherever possible by drawing him “homeopathic floral baths" and gifting him with healing crystals and other protective figures. She called the rumors the “craziest thing" she had heard.

She and the couple’s three children also attended so many games that Bündchen joked she could become a referee. Bündchen confirmed that she would never leave Brady because he decided to stay for one more football season, and their marriage had been in trouble for years.
The ex-model confirmed that she and Brady had been drifting apart for some time as they had grown in different directions rather than together. She clarified:
"When you love someone, you don’t put them in a jail and say, 'You have to live this life.’ You set them free to be who they are, and if you want to fly the same direction, then that's amazing.”

Yet they could not do this together and ultimately decided that ending their marriage was best. While they knew this was what was best for them, Bündchen still felt like her divorce was akin to recovering from a "death.”
Although Büdnchen and Brady's marriage did not go the distance, they have overcome many obstacles together in the past. One of these was Brady's relationship with his ex, Bridget Moynahan.
What Relationship Did Büdnchen and Bridget Moynahan Have?
Bündchen and Brady met a year after she had broken up with Leonardo DiCaprio. The ex-model and Brady were set up on a blind date and immediately hit it off. Bündchen was 26 then and ready to start a family.

Brady was also ready to start a family with his new love but wasn’t prepared to give up his career. Bündchen had been working 350 days a year since she was 13 and was ready to commit to motherhood and being a wife.
However, when the couple's relationship was still relatively new, Brady informed his new love that his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan, was pregnant with his child. This news did not deter Bündchen. Instead, she stayed with him and embraced his son, Jack, as her own child.
It was a time that each of the three adults found challenging, but they knew that the critical thing was Jack. From watching Moynahan and Brady co-parent Jack, Bündchen has learned to navigate parenting in divorce.

While Bündchen admits that she and Moynahan did not always have an excellent relationship, the ex-model said she was in a good place with Jack’s mother after discovering how she could be most helpful in his upbringing.
The pair met only a year after Jack was born, and after they did, their friendship blossomed. Bündchen is now turning to Moynahan for advice on how to raise her children amid a broken relationship.

Bündchen called the time when she first met Moynahan a "rollercoaster" that had "sticky points," but putting herself in the other woman’s shoes helped her see that nothing is worth fighting over.
Talking about what it was like to raise her own children with a half-brother, Bündchen said she was so grateful that she could raise her children, breastfeed them, and take them to school every day like an average mother.
How Did Moynahan Feel After Finding Out About Her Pregnancy?
Brady and Moynahan's son, Jack, turned 15 in August last year, and Brady took to Instagram to share a birthday tribute to his son. He called the teenager a "blessing" and talked about his pride in his son.

While Moynahan and Brady are both grateful for their son and everything he has brought into their lives now, it was difficult for Moynahan right after he was born. In fact, the first thing she did when she got home from the hospital with her son was “sob."
The actress said she was told she would go home with her newborn and feel wonderful, but she did not have those feelings. Instead, she had "overwhelming "anxiety" about raising a child. She admitted:
“All of a sudden, you have this newborn you have no training for. It's frightening.”

Moynahan doesn't believe anyone grows up wanting to be a single mother, but she was forced to be one after her three-year relationship with Brady ended just before she found out she was three months pregnant.
The actress respected that her ex had moved on with Bündchen and didn’t want to say anything disparaging about her son's father because she didn't want Jack to see anything negative when he grew up.
Moynahan raised her son on her own for the most part. However, his father was involved in his life despite the fact that he had moved on and begun a life with Bündchen. The pair respected one another’s lives.

Talking about what it was like to find out that she was carrying her ex-boyfriend's child, Moynahan confessed:
"Going through that traumatic time of being heartbroken and then being pregnant turned my whole life upside down and inside out and just knocked the wind out of me.”
Moynahan said that even though she was overwhelmed, to begin with, a year later, she had become used to motherhood and was grateful that she had a beautiful and healthy child to love.
