Nikki Glaser's On-Off Boyfriend Chris Convy – Inside Their Relationship That Was Never Simple
Stand-up comedian, actress, podcaster, and TV personality Nikki Glaser had a long and turbulent relationship with producer Chris Convy.
It's no surprise that stand-up comedian and actress Nikki Glaser's fans are confused about her relationship status -- she doesn't seem very sure herself.
When she is in a relationship, she is very constant. Nikki Glaser's boyfriend is always Chris Convy, her long-time on-again/off-again plus one with whom she has had an erratic relationship for over nine years.

Nikki Glaser was born on June 1, 1984, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Glaser had a passion for stand-up comedy and started developing her act in college.
Over the years, Glaser established herself as one of the most influential female stand-up comedians guesting on "Comedy Central" and with her own reality show, "Not Safe with Nikki Glaser."
Glaser has worked with many of the United States' most prominent comedians, including David Spade and Joe Rogan, and participated in two of actress and comedian Amy Schumer's films: "Trainwreck" and "I Feel Pretty."
Her stand-up act usually focuses on her romantic life and supposed sexual mishaps but she has often explained that real life doesn't necessarily follow her performances. Her real-life romance with Chris Convy is much more complicated.
Nikki Glaser Had Her First Boyfriend at 24
Glaser has made her love life the core of her stand-up act, but even though she started performing at 18, she has confessed that she had her first boyfriend at 24.
The pandemic brought another level of commitment to the relationship.
In 2013, when she was 30, Glaser started dating producer Chris Convy. Their on/off romance has kept the comedian's fans on the edge of their seats.

Nikki Glaser's Boyfriend (Or Ex-boyfriend) Is Chris Convy and Their Relationship Was like a Roller Coaster
Glaser and Convy met when the comedian co-hosted the late-night talk show "Nikki and Sara" with Sara Schaefer. The two started dating, and as a writer and producer, Convy was very supportive of Glaser's work. She revealed:
"He is such a fantastic person to work with and he has made my show so great."
But in 2016, the couple broke up, and the comedian later confessed that she had tried to please Convy by pretending to be someone she was not.
As always, Glaser turned heartbreak into grist for her comedy and it seemed as if Convy would be a major contributor of material for Glaser's show. She quipped:
"I just went through a break-up, so I have a lot of new material about that because it just happened. I also have a lot of material about my dog."
When Glaser started hosting the reality show "FBoy Island" in 2022, she and Convy were back in touch and tentatively attempting to date again.
For her reality show, "Welcome Home Nikki Glaser?" the comedian moved back to St. Louis and took her relationship live, and things improved. She confessed:
"My experience on 'FBOY Island' definitely did make me think about relationships and dating (...) and look back on something that I had before that just didn't work out because of things that I thought were deal breakers back then. I was willing to try again."
The pandemic brought another level of commitment to the relationship. Convy asked Glaser to be his contact number -- a major step up from casual dating and close to becoming a family.
Nikki Glaser Doesn’t Seem to Be Interested in Creating a Family
Even though, as of early 2023, Convy and Glaser seem to be back together (they attended the 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards together on January 15), the comedian has no plans for children in her future.
In her act, Glaser has talked up "freezing her eggs" to delay the decision to have children, but she has contradicted herself. She said:
"I've never really wanted kids. I've always said it's not for me, but I always reserved the right to change my mind about that. I know certain things happen. You meet a certain someone and you're like, 'I need to have a baby with this person.'"
While she is not ruling out marriage and a family with Convy, Glaser's priority seems to be invested in her legacy of making people laugh, and telling good jokes.
