Harvey Guillen is a Mexican-American actor born on May 3, 1990, in Orange County, California. The actor knew the career path he wanted to follow after he watched the musical "Annie."

Harvey Guillen Says His Life Was Similar to His Character's When He Was Younger

Guillen, who plays the lovable and relatable Guillermo on the hit T.V. show "What We Do in the Shadows," once revealed that his personal life experiences heavily influenced his portrayal of the character.

Fans questioned his character's sexuality throughout the seasons, and the actor remarked that he had been in that position where he was hiding in the shadows. He stated that he drew upon his struggles to bring depth and authenticity to Guillermo's story arc.

His portrayal of Guillermo has been widely praised for its humor and heart, and the character has become a fan favorite on the show. Harvey Guillen Goes on Dates but Is Not Ready for a Relationship

Guillen does not share his private life on social media making fans more curious about his love life. In December 2022, when asked about his dating life, he answered that he was so busy at work that he had not had the time for a relationship.

He revealed that he spent most of 2021 away from home, and with a lifestyle like his, he would only be able to date someone who understands that his schedule could take him anywhere at any time.

The actor remarked that he would never put anyone in a position where he couldn't give them all his time and more for at least a specific period. However, he hinted that not being in a steady relationship did not worry him.

Guillen mentioned that he goes out on dates, does not want to be in a relationship, and does not feel like he is missing out on anything. He does not want a partner or kids at this point in his life.

This means that when he goes out on dates, he intends to wait to settle down and get married. However, he is not ruling out the idea as he knows relationships and love happen organically and would embrace it if it happened to him.
