Patricia Rahman Was James Marsters' Wife for a Decade – What We Know About Her
James Marsters has been married twice, first before he became famous and then after he got famous. His second wife, Patricia Rahman, is more than two decades younger. She filed for divorce in 2021.
James rose to prominence after portraying Spike on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," a role that propelled him to stardom. The character was initially meant to be killed after a few episodes, but he immediately became a fan favorite, and James was made a regular.
A year after the show ended, James was on a music tour in Amsterdam when he met his second wife, Rahman. The pair dated for over half a decade before they married. Rahman is also involved in the entertainment industry as an actress, director, writer, and producer. Her stepson, Sullivan Marsters, is a musician like his father.
James Marsters Was Married to Patricia Rahman for a Decade
James met Rahman backstage at a concert in Amsterdam in 2004. Although they exchanged numbers, James lost Rahman's number after his jeans were cleaned out, and she had written one digit wrong when taking down his number. However, after trying out different combinations, the call finally went through after six months.
When they met, James had already established himself as a fan-favorite character on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," starring alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nicholas Brandon, and David Boreanaz. Rahman was a fashion design student in Germany, born on April 18, 1986. They have a 24-year age difference.

Rahman is credited with 13 productions as an actress, including in short films like G.R.E.T.A and television series such as "Michele and Michael's Variety Show."
She also has two directorial and producing credits each and one as a writer. Outside of the showbiz industry, Rahman is a life coach. Her website says she "guide(s) people-pleasing overthinkers to understand, articulate and meet their own needs."
After six years of dating, the couple got engaged in 2010 in Trier, Germany, and married the following year. On January 14, 2011, they exchanged vows in a private civil ceremony in Los Angeles and were married for a decade before Rahman filed for divorce in early 2021. It seems the divorce is yet to be finalized.

Before Rahman, James was married to Liane Davidson for eight years. Little is known about their marriage, as they married before James stepped into the limelight.
In fact, the couple divorced in 1997, the same year the actor started playing his most iconic role as Spike in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." The former couple had a son together, born in 1996.
