Kian William Jarrahy Is a Santa Monica College Student – Facts about Geena Davis' Son
Kian William Jarrahy is the youngest of actress Geena Davis and surgeon Reza Jarrahy's children, alongside his twin brother. The now-adolescent, who recently entered college, has shied away from the spotlight despite having a celebrity mom, save for a few red-carpet appearances with the actress.
Several years after welcoming Kian William Jarrahy and his brother, Kaiis Steven Jarrahy, Geena Davis opened up about her anxieties regarding being a boy-mom. The actress had already been caring for her then-two-year-old daughter, Alizeh Keshvar Davis-Jarrahy, when her sons arrived.
Geena worried if she would love Kian and Kaiis as much as she loved Alizeh, but as time would tell, she did. Nursing three children under the age of three in one home was still overwhelming for the Hollywood star. Regardless, she felt it was "really wonderful."
Kian stayed out of the limelight during his formative years and continues to live his life privately. Despite having a celebrity mother and somewhat of a social media presence, little is known about the youngster's personal life. But now, as a college student, it seems he's ready to take on the world.
Kian William Jarrahy Was Born to His Mother in Her 40s
Kian drew his first breath at a Los Angeles hospital on May 6, 2004. According to "A Dictionary of First Names," Kian is an anglicized spelling of the Irish name Cian, which traditionally translates to "ancient." Its origins date back to 1014, as it was borne by the son-in-law of historical figure Brian Boru, who played a significant role in the battle of Clontarf.

Kian's mother was 47 when he was born, and the "Thelma and Louise" starlet said she was "really grateful" she had him and his siblings in her 40s. Explaining to the hosts of "Loose Women," her decision to wait was mindful, as she felt she would have "evolved" more and had improved self-esteem by the time her kids entered the picture.
She married Reza Jarrahy in September 2001, and the pair welcomed their first baby in 2002. Unfortunately, Kian's parents separated in November 2017, and his dad filed for divorce the following year. They finalized it in 2021, agreeing that Kian and his brother would have Jarrahy as their only last name, as opposed to it formerly being Davis-Jarrahy.

Kian Is Studying in California
Kian enrolled at Santa Monica College — known for being California's #1 transfer college for over three decades, among other notable aspects — in 2022. Per his LinkedIn profile, he plans to graduate in 2026 but has yet to specify the qualification he's undertaking.
He's the only one of his siblings yet to appear on his dad's Instagram page. Kian also has an IG account, but he had only posted one photo at the time of writing. His brother is the only one who regularly updates his timeline, as his sister also maintains a private life. Her IG page is only currently available to her followers.
The 18-year-old also rarely attended public events with his mother. He attended the CLA Mattel Children's Hospital's Kaleidoscope 5 on his 13th birthday with his family in Culver City. Most recently, he was at the 2022 Primetime Emmy Awards with Geena last September.
The Lives of Kian's 2 Siblings
Little is known about Alizeh's life, apart from what her mom has shared in interviews over the years. The actress has acknowledged how harmful social media can be, despite how much she tries to protect her daughter from it. But against those odds, Geena empowers Alizeh by teaching her about what's culturally wrong and unfair, especially toward women.
Kian's twin Kaiis is also a college student at the University of Washington. But like his brother, Kaiis is yet to specify his studies. The teenager regularly spends time with his dad, often appearing in Reza's posts. In 2020, the father of three told his followers he was sharing his first daytime meal with Kaiis after fasting for a month for Ramadan.
