Oliver Stark Is a Promising Actor from London
The young actor's first role in the US was in the sci-fi martial arts series "Into The Badlands," alongside actor Daniel Wu. Stark worked on "ITB" as part of the main cast until 2019.
In 2016, Stark was cast in the final film of the "Underworld" saga, "Underworld: Blood Wars," as Gregor, with fellow British actress Kate Beckinsale.
Stark worked in another sci-fi movie, "MindGamers: One Thousand Minds Connected Live," in 2017, with actors Tom Payne, Dominique Tipper, and Sam Neill.
Stark became a household name and a fan favorite when he was cast as Evan 'Buck' Buckley in the first responder procedural drama, "9-1-1," in which he nails the accent. He said:
"I get to be this guy who is in his mid-20s, who gets to have these moments where he is the swashbuckling hero with kind of this cockiness and swagger to him, and then in the next moment, he can be really vulnerable and sensitive."
Stark, who is a feminist and a vegan, wants to show that a strong man isn't afraid to cry or to open up about his fears and his feelings.
The actor confessed that he started having doubts about making it in the US as an actor when the role of Buck suddenly appeared. After a long fight to make his mark, Stark had the role in a week.

Oliver Stark Moved From the U.K. To Los Angeles After Falling in Love With Actress Hannah Gottesman
But the real reason Stark moved to the US was not to expand his career. He had met actress Hanna Gottesman on Instagram, and the two fell in love. Stark admitted:
"I lied to my parents and told them I had met her before. Basically, I'd been stalking her for about an entire year, liking photos — totally creepy. And then, eventually, she followed me back."
After three months of FaceTime chats, Stark hopped on a plane to Los Angeles. He was supposed to stay for three weeks and moved in with Gottesman the same day.
Actress and model Hannah Gottesman debuted in 2016 in "NCIS: Los Angeles," and went on to work on the Marvel movie, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," as the Sovereign Chambermaid.
The current status of the relationship between Stark and Gottesman is still undetermined, but the two were together for two years. As of November 2022, it seemed the romance was over.
It is unknown if the British heartthrob is dating, and his Instagram account gives nothing away. All he posts about is his love for animals and nature -- but there may be a secret love in his life.

"People are really connecting to my birthmark. I'm getting lots of messages from moms saying that their child has a birthmark on their face, and it's a huge boost of confidence to them."
At the beginning of his career, Stark was advised by an acting teacher to have his birthmark removed, but he refused. When he came to LA, Stark used to cover up the birthmark with makeup for auditions.
