Nikki is Wong's second child. She was born in 2017, while her elder sister Mari Hakuta was born in 2015. Her parents named her Nikki, which has several meanings.
For English people and Americans, the name Nikki is the abbreviation of Nicole which means victory. In Japanese, it is used as a surname, while in Greek, the name symbolizes the goddess of victory.
In 2019, Nikki's mother released her book "Dear Girls," which focuses on intimate tales, untold secrets, and living the best life.

Wong is passionate about her job. She still worked when she was heavily pregnant with her daughters. She filmed the "Hard Knock Wife" special on Netflix while pregnant with Nikki and shot another special, "Baby Cobra," while pregnant with her first child.
During a recent interview with talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, the standup comedian revealed her daughters knew the names of the specials and were proud to be part of them. Nikki's mother went on to talk about her pregnancy journey, stating she was surprised when people were so concerned about it.
Nikki's mother once opened up about how she went through a devastating time after suffering a miscarriage. She revealed that, at some point, she was scared of talking about it because she thought her ex-husband's parents would be disappointed. However, when they heard the news, they were very supportive.
Unfortunately, Nikki's parents divorced in 2022. The two were together from 2014 until 2022. Even so, Nikki and her sister remain close to both of them.
Nikki Hakuta Will Not Become a Comedian with Her Mother's Approval
Even though Nikki's parents divorced, they are still close and call each other best friends. They have a great co-parenting relationship, and whenever Nikki's mom goes on tour, she, her sister, and her father accompany her.
Nikki's mother said she enjoys those moments because her career provides a work-life balance. When not on stage, she spends time with her family visiting fun places.
Though Nikki's mom once said standup comedy was one of her favorite things, she told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres during an interview that she wouldn't want her kids to pursue comedy. She explained that although it was a nice career, it had many challenges, especially for women.
