Does Bridget Everett Have a Husband? All We Know about the Comedian's Love Life and Sexuality
As actress Bridget Everett prepares to return to the screens, questions are rife concerning her dating life and sexuality. Is the "Love You More" star dating? Does she have a husband? Even as she comes clean about the intimate details of her life, others have concerns over her sexuality, with most concluding that she is queer.
Born in April 1972 in Manhattan, USA, actress Bridget Everett became a household name for appearing in an array of films, including "Patti Cake$," "Fun Mom Dinner," and "Trainwreck," as well as playing AL in the horror comedy "Little Evil." Besides acting, she has also made a name for herself as a producer and a cabaret performer.
The actor, also a comedian, is preparing to return to the scenes for season 2 of HBO's "Somebody Somewhere." In the series, set to kick off on April 23, Everette plays the lead character Sam, a middle-aged woman who returns to her hometown in Kansas to care for her ill sister.

Bridget Everett Is Not Married and Appears to Be Single
Even with a successful career, Everett seems unlucky in love. During her interview with New York Times, she revealed that the closest she has come to human contact in the past couple of years was during her manicure and pedicure session done by her old next-door neighbor Cindy:
"As a single person, you know, it's nice to have somebody squeeze your hands a little."

Her social media platforms also do not mention the actress having someone special in her life, as all her photos are taken solo or with family and friends.
Bridget Everett Once Spoke About Being Single for Most of Her Adult Life
The actress has never been one to lie about her dating status, and during a sitdown with W magazine, she disclosed that she had been single for most of her adult life.

However, at the time, she believed she was ready to start dating and confessed that there was something incredibly special about having someone to come home to:
"I decided maybe I was ready to start dating because the feeling of having a full heart is a good feeling, and you forget about that when you're spending a lot of time on the road alone because you're focused on getting to the airport and getting from place to place. Having someone to come home to was a new feeling."
Despite the man of her dreams taking time to get to her, the actress still has plenty of love to share. In 2017, she got herself a lovely Pomeranian puppy named Poppy.
She loved the dog and often referred to her as her best friend and guiding light -- and Poppy loved her back. Sadly, four years later, Poppy died, leaving Everett a heartbroken woman. She, however, picked up the broken pieces of her heart and got herself another puppy she calls Lulu.
People Often Assume Bridget Everett Is Queer, but She Is Straight
For years, people have always believed that Everett was queer. But in her most recent interview, she shut down those speculations, saying she was straight.
However, she disclosed that she had plenty of queer friends and, according to Pride Source, she deserved to be "an honorary member of the LGBTQ+ community."

And while the speculations may be a little off track, they are not without a compelling reason. As Everette started her career in gay bars and clubs, it would make sense why anyone would think that. She shared that she found solace in gay bars where everyone made her feel special:
"Because I struggled with self-worth and all those things growing up, and low self-esteem. And even though I had a lot of friends, I just didn't feel special. And I felt special when I got to the gay bars and the gay clubs, and also, encouraged to push it even further."
As things stand, Everett, who stars alongside Mike Hargety in "Somebody Somewhere," may be yet to find the love of her life, but she is sure not slowing down in her career. We can only wish her the best in her search for true love.
