Carrie Underwood Goes Makeup-Free Showing Her Natural Look While Harvesting Vegetables
Carrie Underwood broke her bad luck streak with carrots over the weekend, pulling a fresh bunch out of the earth in an April 17, 2023, update. The country superstar also had a decent beet and greenery harvest from her greenhouse.
Barefaced, except for her beautifully full brows, Carrie Underwood smiled as she held up her homegrown produce. "Feels so good to grow things…" she wrote and hoped that the folks of Epic Gardening were as proud and excited as she was.
On February 19, the singer showcased her new greenhouse (that she's "obsessed" with) in a video set to her track "Garden." She thanked Epic Gardening for "kindly" helping her with the setup.
Carrie Underwood, the Glammed up 'Soccer Mom'
When she's not growing lunch, the singer spends time with family, like riding horses with her husband, Mike Fisher, and horsing around with their sons, Isaiah Michael Fisher and Jacob Bryan Fisher.
In activewear from her former brand and full glam, Carrie declared herself "officially a soccer mom" in October 2018 at Isaiah's soccer match. "Too much makeup you did," an Instagram user commented in the style of "Star Wars'" Yoda.
"Does seem a bit much for a soccer game, especially for someone as pretty as Carrie - but if you're feelin' it, go for it, soccer mama!! Love the workout wear... it sounds like Isaiah is a natural athlete!!" a fan wrote.
A few years ago, Carrie told PEOPLE that she is a total "eye girl." She confessed to always having a smidge of cosmetics on her face, even when she is home, "I'll always put on a little eyeshadow, a little liner, and mascara, and I'm good to go."
Her makeup habits extend to the gym. Her dislike of seeing unflattering photos of herself has put her in the habit of always wearing some makeup. The "Out Of That Truck" singer is more than happy to share her bare face on her terms on her social media platforms.
Carrie Underwood began doing her makeup under her older sisters' tutelage when she was 12, but she would not want that for her child if she had a daughter. She simplified her routine after having Isaiah by using products that cut out some of the steps.
