Ryan Bingham's ex-wife, Anna Axster, was integral to his life and career. She wasn't only his business partner but also the source of his inspiration and solace. The former lovers were married for over a decade when Bingham filed for divorce and subsequently changed his name. The artist recently debuted his new romance with a "Yellowstone" co-star.

New Mexico native Ryan Bingham drew his first breath in Hobbs on March 31, 1981. He's renowned for leading a successful dual career as a musician and actor. The award-winning artist debuted his on-screen career in 2009 as Tony in the musical drama "Crazy Heart."

Following his appearances in "Jackie and Ryan," "A Country Called Home," and "Hostiles," he earned himself a recurring role in the critically acclaimed drama series "Yellowstone," portraying an ex-convict named Walker. Although the show's producer initially approached Bingham for music, he cast him after hearing about his cowboy-like childhood.

But accompanying that upbringing is a troubled past in which he lost both his parents. It wasn't until he met Anna Axster that Bingham's healing solidified, and he found security in her presence; the pair became partners in love, business, and parenthood. Sadly, their romance ended in 2021, although they kept the innermost details of their separation private.

Axster is a London Metropolitan University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Audio Visual Production. She pursued a Master's in Filmmaking at the London Film School in 2002 and attained it in 2004. As a director, writer, and producer, Axster is credited in many productions and several of Bingham's music videos.

The pair also founded the label Axster Bingham Records, in addition to The Western Festival and Axster's work as a full-time Talent Manager. In January 2022, she launched a beverage manufacturing enterprise called Lodestar Spirits. Axster also handled Bingham's album art and photoshoots, and the two had a fruitful working relationship, as he once gushed:

"There's no one who looks out for my best interest more than she does. It's great to be able to collaborate with her on that stuff and to work so closely with someone who really understands who I am."

The actor felt she was his "biggest supporter." The former couple was relatively private about their relationship before and after marrying and only kept the public on a need-to-know basis. Still, it is known that they shared three children and a home in Los Angeles.

Much of Bingham's music had a recurring theme about finding a home, and after Texas Highways noted it in 2020, the outlet was curious to know if Bingham had reached such a place. He agreed and explained that he and Axster were "vagabonds" when they met.

But all that changed after they settled down and had kids. He gleefully recalled when they found a place to stay, as it was the first time his name was on a lease. It was a milestone for Bingham that moved him to tears when they finally got the keys and walked inside.

A little over a year after that interview, in June 2021, he filed for divorce. The reason for his and Axster's separation, which surprised many, remains unknown. Last September, news broke that Bingham was changing his name from Ryan Axster Bingham back to George Ryan Bingham amid his divorce proceedings. At this time, it's unclear if they have been finalized.
