Jai Malik Wiggins Jr. is the young son of rapper Yung Miami of City Girls and Jai Wiggins, who passed away tragically when his son was very young.

Jai Malik Wiggins Jr.'s young life has been lived in the spotlight. He is the oldest child of City Girls rapper Yung Miami, and his father died in a shooting.

Yung Miami's baby father, Jai Wiggins, was devoted to his son, and the rapper has often spoken of their loving relationship and paid tribute to their bond.

Jai Malik Wiggins Jr. was born on June 26, 2013, to Yung Miami (born Caresha Romeka Brownlee) and her then-boyfriend Jai Wiggins when the rapper was 19.

Jai's mom is famous for being part of the successful rap duo City Girls alongside JT. The two women got their break after guesting on Drake's single "In My Feelings."

Yung Miami is also an actress, and she has starred in the 2020 movie "Bad Boys For Life" with actors Will Smith and Martin Lawrence and in 2023's "You People" starring Eddie Murphy.

Jai has a younger sister, Summer, and he and his mom, Yung Miami, are very close, especially since he lost his father when he was very young.

Jai Malik Wiggins Jr. Is Jai Wiggins' Son

Jai is Yung Miami's oldest child, born into her long-term relationship with Jai Wiggins Sr when she was just 19. The relationship was turbulent and ended in 2015 amid accusations of domestic violence.

Jai Sr. and Yung Miami overcame their issues to become loving and amicable co-parents to Jai. Father and son had a loving bond, and Yung Miami described Jai Jr. and Jai Sr. as "best friends."

Yung Miami acknowledged Jai Sr.'s place in her son's life and spoke warmly of his devotion to their son and Jai Jr.'s affection for his father. She said:

"Babies' 1st words are DADA & that’s what you are a FATHER to Jai. You & Jai is peanut butter & jelly always together one thing about you, you don't play about your son! So humble, quiet & uplifting (sic)."

Yung Miami's First Child's Father Was Killed

Jai Wiggins Sr was wounded in June 2020 in a shooting, and very little is known about who shot him or why. While Jai Sr. was lying in intensive care, Yung Miami had to continue with her work.

She revealed that she was making a video for a City Girls song with Doja Cat. The devastated rapper performed flawlessly in front of the cameras and dissolved in storms of tears between takes.

JT would later describe Yung Miami's courage and resilience, calling her the strongest person she knew as she dealt with her grief and gave her love and support to little Jai, then seven.

In a Twitter post, Yung Miami confessed that it saddened her to see how much her son missed Jai Sr. and that she couldn't fill that absence. She posted a photo of Jai Sr. on her son's Instagram page and captioned it:

“Happy birthday daddy! I miss you so much 💔"

Jai Malik Wiggins Jr. Has An Instagram Page and YouTube Channel

Little Jai Jr. has his own Instagram page with over 75,000 followers and a YouTube channel. Like most boys his age, he loves playing football, eating sushi, and going to the movies.

He often shares adorable photos of himself with his baby sister, Summer. Summer Miami Luellen was born on October 18, 2019, to Yung Miami and her ex-boyfriend, musician Southside, known for work on the soundtrack of films like "Creed" and "SuperFly."
