Susan Lucci Is the 'Definition of Timeless Beauty' in a Spring-Vibe Photo with Tulips
From doing pilates to following a healthy diet, Susan Lucci has stayed active over the years and proved she has reaped the benefits in a recent Instagram post that showed off her in-shape physique and youthful glow.
On April 22, Lucci posed in a garden of vibrant, multi-colored tulips, but it was her ageless beauty that stole the show. "Tip-toe through the tulips…" the actress captioned the post, which featured her beaming smile as she crouched down in a black and white mini dress with a bold pattern and puffed sleeves. Lucci tied the look together with silver hoop earrings that matched her silver and black heels.
In the comments section, Lucci received praise for her good looks, as one person wrote, "The tulips are beautiful, but you certainly outshine them, Susan! You are the definition of timeless beauty!" to which Luccis responded, "What a very lovely comment, thank you."
"Absolutely timeless and elegant. More importantly, you're lovely on the inside, Susan, and that radiates in every picture," another fan commented, and a third shared, "My very favorite flower! You are looking lovely as always. Enjoy your weekend." "Timeless beauty. Tulips are my favorite indoor flower, and you represent their beauty, and your smile is how they make me feel— comfort and warm," a fourth fan added.
At 76 years old, Lucci has stayed in fantastic shape. And the former "All My Children" star credited her late mother, a registered nurse who believed that prevention was better than a cure, for her good genes and all the lessons the actress had learned.
After almost suffering a massive heart attack due to a large blockage in her main artery, Lucci revealed that she learned the importance of prioritizing physical exercise and its correlation with lower stress levels. As a result, the actress adheres to a Mediterranean-style diet based around fresh vegetables, fruit, and fish and does pilates six times a week.
"I do several forms. I love my Pilates Pro Chair because it gives me cardio at the same time, but I also work out with a mat and a vinyl ball... I am looking for ways of stepping it up, too," she said.
Susan Lucci, originally from New York, has been acting since she was young and landed her most notable role, playing Erica Kane on "All My Children," in 1969 when she was twenty-three. Since then, she's become a household name, the first soap opera actress to appear on the cover of major magazines and earning a slew of Emmy nominations.
