Christina Carano is best known as the wife of American singer-songwriter Jason Mraz. But beyond her role as a spouse, she was a barista and business owner.

Christina Carano married an American celebrity, but she has been known to lead a private life, and not much is known about her personal life. She met her husband in the late 2000s, and years later, they walked down the aisle.

Christina Reportedly Met Jason at Work

Carano met her husband in 2007 when she still owned her coffee shop. Their meeting happened because they had mutual friends. However, there was nothing serious between them except for the occasional invites she got to events that concerned him.

In one of the gatherings at his house, she noticed he was passionate about the planet and his health and did not own a TV or microwave. She loved these qualities and more about him, but they did not start dating until 2011.

On the other hand, Mraz also admired several qualities about Carano from the first time they met. He revealed that he was instantly connected to her and admired her integrity and practices.

He remarked that she displays whole-heartedness in every action, is remarkably generous, is excellent in the kitchen, and more. The musician also complimented her smile, which had specific effects on him.

She supported and helped him understand his sexuality by telling him he had "two spirit." According to him, while they were dating, he also had experiences with men, which confused him. However, she helped him realize that people with "two spirit" could love both men and women.

Christina and Jason Got Married in a Small Ceremony

Carano and Mraz tied the knot on October 25, 2015. After four years of dating, the couple had a Sunday wedding, an intimate outdoor event in Virginia attended by close family and friends.

Their wedding ceremony was led by Terces Engelhart, an author, and founder of Café Gratitude. After their wedding, pictures did not hit social media until the singer posted an image of his wife on Twitter as she stood on the aisle. In his caption, he revealed that he was the luckiest man alive.

Before dating and marrying Carano, Mraz was in a relationship with singer-songwriter Tristan Prettyman. They got engaged in December 2010 but decided to wait until gay marriage was legal before they would get married.

However, they broke up in 2011, and despite her pain, it inspired her to write an album. A couple of years later, she forgave him because she did not want to hold on to negativity and revealed they were in a good place.

Christina and Jason Have Not Made a Public Appearance Together for Several Years

Carano and Mraz have kept their relationship away from the spotlight, especially in recent years. They have not shared photos of each other on their social media accounts.

She also does not appear on their farm's Instagram page. One of the couple's last public appearances was in 2016 when they attended an event in Los Angeles.

Additionally, there is no mention of Carano on the About page of the Mraz Family Farms, which lists the musician as a cultivator and coffee lover. Also, she is inactive on her Facebook page, which may be her only social media account.

Her Facebook page has had occasional posts dedicated to charity, primarily as she donates to them. The last activity on her page was in May 2021, when she contributed to a fundraising campaign.

Unsurprisingly, she is not the first celebrity wife or relative who has made rare public appearances.
