Pierce Brosnan has proved himself to be an extremely versatile actor. From "James Bond" to "Mama Mia," Brosnan always hits the mark. His most recent project, playing Doctor Fate in "Black Adam," has also turned out to be a perfect fit for the polished performer.
Besides his latest role in the DC Extended Universe drawing the public's attention, the 69-year-old actor and his 59-year-old wife, Keely Shaye Smith, recently stole the spotlight when they were seen enjoying a date out on the town.
Brosnan and Smith looked like the perfect pair on March 25 as they made a rare public appearance in Malibu. The couple matched in black outfits, with Brosnan wearing a black t-shirt, jeans, sneakers, and a black scarf, while his partner looked tremendous in a coordinated black dress and flats.
After his first wife's death, Brosnan was left with three kids to raise.

Brosnan and Smith have been married since 2001, after the actor lost his first wife, Cassandra Harris, in 1991. Harris passed away at the age of 43 after battling ovarian cancer. She was survived by her and Brosnan's son, Sean Brosnan, and her two kids from a previous marriage.
Why Does 'James Bond' Live In Seclusion with Beloved Family?
After losing his first wife and finding new love with Smith, Brosnan has built himself a tranquil life away from intrusive neighbors and unwelcome eyes. The couple found a quaint property in Kauai, Hawaii, in 2002, where they spend their time whenever they've had enough of bustling Malibu. Brosnan commented:
"We have a wee cottage out there on the North Shore, and it sits on [five] acres. For Keely and I to come here years ago and have some small dream of a getaway for our children, for ourselves and our future, this is truly [a] magical space."
Smith and her husband share two sons, Dylan Brosnan and Paris Brosnan. The happy family unit has been spending an increasing amount of time on their island paradise since the Covid-19 pandemic, passing their days by lazing on the beaches, snorkeling at low tide, and enjoying the fruits the beautiful forests have to offer.
The "Remmington Steele" star's brood has expanded further over the last few years.
After his first wife's death, Brosnan was left with three kids to raise. He and Harris share one son, while the actor adopted the two children Harris had in a previous relationship, Christopher Brosnan and Charlotte Brosnan. The father-of-five opened up about being a dad, saying it is one of the most fulfilling roles he has ever played:
"I cherish family very much. I cherish being a father. I did not grow up with a father figure or with a solid family. There was deep fracture, a certain isolation and an aloneness which wielded the wonderful power of my imagination."

The absence of a dad left Brosnan with a great need for family, and he has tremendously enjoyed building a family of his own with his wife. He applauded Smith's skills as a mother and loving wife, enthusing, "Keely is the most amazing mother and woman."
How Does Brosnan Feel about Being a Grandpa of Four?
The "Remmington Steele" star's brood has expanded further over the last few years. While he's still looking after his two youngest sons, Brosnan has also taken on the responsibilities of a grandparent after two of his kids brought children of their own into the world.
Although his adopted daughter passed away, the actor is left with two sweet grandkids to remind him of her. The oldest of Brosnan's adopted grandkids is Isabella Sophie Smith, born in August 1998. In April of 2005, Brosnan and his family welcomed the second of his adopted grandkids, Lucas Smith.
Harris and Brosnan's son, Sean, welcomed his first child in 2015. Brosnan announced little Marley May Cassandra Brosnan's arrival with an Instagram post congratulating his son and daughter-in-law. In 2022, the young couple had their second baby, naming him Jaxxon Elijah Brosnan.
