Terry Moore, born Helen Luella Koford, is now 94 and officially one of the last surviving actors of Hollywood's golden era. The "Come Back, Little Sheba" star was born to a very strict Mormon family on January 7, 1929, in Glendale, California.

After getting her career started in the world of modeling as a child model, Moore made her film debut in 1940 with the movie "Maryland." She received her first Acadamy Award nomination for the 1952 flick, "Come Back, Little Sheba," and went on to win the Mannheim Film Festival Award for "Why Must I Die?" which she also produced in 1960.

Starting her career at the young age of 10, Moore has worked in the entertainment industry longer than most. The "Portrait of Alison" actress attests to her years of longevity in the film industry:

Moore has interacted with many legendary film stars throughout her extensive career. The star has encountered the iconic likes of Marilyn Monroe, who she described as "adorable and sensitive," and the late, great Elvis Presley, who asked her on a date once.

Before meeting her late eccentric billionaire husband, Howard Hughes, Moore had experienced her fair share of quick marriages. In 1951, she married American professional football player Glenn Davis in a Mormon ceremony, which she claimed she was "forced" into by studio execs. The marriage lasted for two months, with Moore divorcing Davis in 1952. In 1956, she married insurance man Eugene McGrath.

Hughes and Moore initially met in the late 40s at a restaurant in Hollywood, but at the time, Moore was seeing someone else. The "Bernardine" star recalled how they were introduced by her agent, which she thought was just by chance but turned out to be a planned set-up:

"My agent brought him over [and] we thought it was accidental, but nothing was accidental with Howard; it was all set up. It developed into a friendship and then into a great love story. You can't be more eccentric than he was [because] everything was bigger with him."

Moore detailed how Hughes would introduce her to all sorts of new and exciting things, like teaching her to fly. According to her, Hughes was adventurous, exciting, and charming.

The couple's love story was not all sunshine and rainbows, though, and according to Moore, she still has very conflicting and complex feelings about their relationship to this day.

Hughes was 23 years Moore's senior and died as a recluse in 1976 from kidney failure. The Hollywood actress expressed how this was her first relationship where she was in love but had it not happened, she would have been just as happy.

Moore detailed how although her late husband was as charming as they come, he had another manipulative side to him. In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, the "Two of a Kind" actress candidly addressed how Hughes would be cruel to her from time to time:

"He was also a liar [and] did unthinkable things, so many things that hurt me. Was he cruel? I guess you could say he was cruel, but I didn't know that he was cruel [because] I was too naive. He could manipulate so much [and] I was too young and too innocent."

Did Terry Moore Get Money From Her Secret Husband?

Though the couple's marriage was never verified or confirmed, Moore insisted they were married in 1949 on a ship aboard international waters. "The Return of October" icon reported that the two were married by a captain though she wasn't sure whether that constituted a valid marriage:

"I don't know if it was. We got married on a boat by his captain, who could marry anyone, but who knows?"

During the course of her marriage to Hughes, the two went on to wed other people. Moore married McGrath in '56 and divorced him in '58. She then married Stuart Cramer III in 1959 and had two sons.

Cramer was previously married to actress Jean Peters for two months in 1954 before Peters moved on and married Hughes in 1957.

All these marriages took place during the period of Moore's marriage to Hughes from 1957 to 1972. Though Moore engaged in the act of bigamy, she emphatically stated that she had waited more than 30 years to hear herself being referred to as "Mrs. Howard Hughes."

Moore has enjoyed playing many roles, but her favorite is playing grandma to her five grandchildren. The still-beautiful actress still leads an exciting life, pursuing and starring in upcoming film projects.

Explaining the reason for her decision to marry McGrath and Cramer while still being married to Hughes, Moore stated that it was because she wanted to have children. According to Moore:

"My later 'marriages' to Stuart Cramer and Eugene McGrath were due to my deep desire to bear children, which Hughes refused to permit me to do. These relationships were not the result of any belief on my part that I was not still married to Hughes."

Though Moore did fall pregnant once with Hughes, the child was born three months prematurely and unfortunately did not survive.

Years later, following Hughes' death in '76, when it came to settlements regarding Hughes' fortune, court documents showed that their marriage was, in fact, legal and never dissolved. According to Moore, her portion of Hughes' $1.5 billion fortune was less than eight figures, and the exact value reported was $350,000.

"We couldn't be happier": Terry Moore's Life As A Grandmother

During her short marriage to Cramer, Moore became the mother to two sons, Grant Cramer and Stuart Warren Cramer IV. Moore is now the grandmother of five grandchildren. Though her second child leads a very private life where little is known about him, her firstborn is an accomplished actor like his mom.

Starting out as an actor, Grant has starred in "The Young and the Restless" and played a role in the iconic film classic "Killer Klowns from Outer Space."

He has since turned in his acting hat for that of producer and has been at the center of many successful star-studded movies like "And So It Goes," "Lone Survivor," and "How To Make Love Like An Englishman."

Moore's latest grandson, little Preston Cody Sasha, was born on May 22, 2015. According to his father, Grant, and his mother, Russian psychiatrist Olga Cramer, baby Preston's name holds special significance. His first name honors a close family friend of the Cramer's—Kentucky Derby horse breeder, Preston Madden, while his second name signifies a strong cowboy name, representing the family's affinity for cowboy culture. The name Sasha is a nod to Olga's Russian heritage.

Grant and his wife were ecstatic to welcome their first child, and though Olga had to undergo a C-section, their baby came out beautiful and healthy. Moore was beyond excited to become a grandmother for the fifth time and reportedly rushed to the hospital as soon as her son told her that her grandson was en route. Grant exclusively told the Daily Mail:

"We are beyond thrilled. Our son is healthy and handsome, and we couldn't be happier."

Moore has enjoyed playing many roles, but her favorite is playing grandma to her five grandchildren. The still-beautiful actress still leads an exciting life, pursuing and starring in upcoming film projects. She also maintains a healthy lifestyle and feels amazing at 94.
