Anna Nicole Smith's Daughter Dannielynn Looks So Much like Late Mother Fans Had 'To Do a Double Take'

Dannielynn Birkhead attended the Barnstable-Brown Derby Eve Gala with her father, Larry Birkhead. The young lady paid tribute to her late mother, actress Anna Nicole Smith, by wearing her jewelry and a shirt adorned with her photographs.

Dannielynn looked stunning with a highly curled hairstyle and bold smokey eye makeup. She wore a Guess shirt featuring some of her mother's Guess, which she paired with a long black skirt.

Her father, Larry Birkhead, sported a matching tie featuring the same photographs of the late actress to the event, which holds sentimental value since he met Anna Nicole there two decades ago.

In the heartfelt caption, Larry expressed disbelief that his daughter is almost seventeen years old. Followers soon took notice the resemblance between Danielynn and Anna Nicole as one of them wrote she is "a beauty just like her mommy."

Another fan wrote she "had to do a double take" to understand it’s Dannielynn and not her mother standing in the photo. Some of the fans also praised Larry for doing an amazing job as a father and raising such a beauty.

For the Kentucky Derby, Dannielynn dressed up in a voluminous dress with huge sunflowers on the skirt and her curly long locks neatly pinned with a big flower. Larry wore a matching blue costume with a yellow tie and a little flower on his jacket.

Larry revealed that he had to transport the dress by car because it was too big to fit on a plane. The father-daughter duo was joined by musician Richie Sambora, who even took a moment to listen to Dannielynn's electric guitar skills.

It’s an annual tradition for father and daughter to attend the Kentucky Derby, and Larry has become accustomed to questions from people wanting to know what Danielynn would wear and whether their outfits would match.

Dannielynn is Anna Nicole's second child, born after her son Daniel. When she was born, another man was named her father on the birth certificate. Larry had to endure a lengthy and difficult legal battle, including a DNA test, to prove his paternity. Dannielynn has lived with him since Anna Nicole's passing.
