The first picture was of Basinger's sonogram when she was pregnant with Baldwin, and she explained the note she penned on her sonogram, writing, "I know it's hard to read...But in April 1995, this was a note I wrote on one of my first sonograms of baby Ireland. It said, '4 white paws and a tail. Like I said to Dr. Liu (my OB), It's a puppy!'"
The former model then reacted to her daughter's sonogram, which was the second photo she shared, writing: "This weekend, 27 years later, I looked at @irelandirelandireland's newest sonogram and could have sworn she was having a Beagle!" She added:
"Like mother, like daughter and a new baby girl coming our way. So looking forward to meeting this little Snoopy in June."

Baldwin commented on her beloved mother's sweet post, writing: "Awwwww," while the father of her child, Andre Allen Anjos, wrote, "I can't wait to meet her too."
Baldwin announced her pregnancy on New Year's Eve by sharing her sonogram on her Instagram. She captioned the post: "Happy New Year!"
The First-Time Mom Shows Photo of Newborn with an "Awesome Name"
Baldwin announced the arrival of her first child on May 18, 2022, also on Instagram. In the post, she revealed the name of her daughter, whom she shares with her love, Anjos, a Portuguese musician going by the stage name RAC.
The post was accompanied by a snapshot that showed the happy couple smiling from ear to ear while Baldwin held their bundle of joy on the hospital bed. "Holland," the new mom wrote.
Fans flooded the comments section sending their congratulatory messages. "So Happy for you guys – and cool choice of name!! Irish and Dutch play well together" said one Instagram user.
Another exclaimed, "What a sweet awesome name congrats!" One person wrote, "Congratulations on the safe arrival of your sweet baby Holland."
Another individual said, "Congratulations Beautiful Ireland. You deserve every moment of happiness that this baby will bring you."
Amid the warm messages from other fans, one user predicted Ireland's next baby's name, stating: "Next one will be Finland?"
The fashion model previously revealed her child's name would be Holland during an appearance on the "Girlboss Radio" podcast. "I'm Ireland, so, another country name because we wanted to keep that consistent."
Baldwin also disclosed the name was inspired by her favorite actress, Holland Taylor, adding that she liked the name from a young age:
"I've always loved that name since I was young. I just thought that that was such a classy, beautiful name."
Before giving birth, Baldwin posted a photo of herself in labor while in the bathroom. In the snap, she could be seen inside the bathtub with her eyes closed. The Los Angeles native captioned her post, "The photo I'm going to show my daughter when she back talks."
Basinger & Her Daughter Did Not Speak for a Year - The Pregnancy Made Them Close
Baldwin's pregnancy brought her and her famous mother closer as the pair were not on speaking terms for quite some time because of her substance abuse issues.
In an April 2022 interview on "Red Table Talk," Baldwin revealed she avoided contact with her parents as she was "self-medicating."
The "Grudge Match" star disclosed she comes from a family that struggles with substance abuse. One evening she took things too far because she could not fall asleep. She had reached a "breaking point" in her life.
The now-mother of one had lost control of her life, isolating herself from her loved ones and punishing herself with her "eating disorders." Baldwin revealed:
"I didn't talk to my parents for like a year. I saw them here and there, but I was so ashamed of what I had become and how I was living."
As a teenager, Baldwin was body-shamed by adults online. At age seventeen, she had body-image issues and eating problems. She would over-indulge in food whenever she felt angry about something – or would refrain from eating altogether when thinking of how she looked. In addition, the paparazzi published body-shaming images of her.
In an August 2013 interview, Baldwin complimented her mother's beauty, saying: "She looks like she's my age. Her body, I swear, it's scary."
Meanwhile, that same year, during a December interview, her mom stated she tried to give her a normal upbringing. Basinger divulged:
"She grew up in the limelight, but I tried to provide stability and a quieter world."
Despite being at odds at one point in their lives, Basinger and her daughter have since mended fences and have close relations now.
In March 2023, Baldwin posted a snapshot of her and her mother in an embrace at her unconventional baby shower. She penned, "Baby's first strip club extravaganza."
