Thinking of the surreal moment still gives Taylor a chill down his spine. Haley also had a tough time processing the fate of her life.

It hit her that she would be fighting a long battle she might lose. So, ten days after her diagnosis, she sat her husband down and told him he could move on and find someone else.

As much as Taylor understood that his wife was doing that out of love, he was unwilling to let her go through the fight alone. "I thought she was crazy," he said.

Haley was scheduled for nine weeks of chemotherapy to help shrink the tumor. In the hopes of receiving good news after the sessions, they decided to celebrate life and got married.

But a week after their wedding, they faced more devasting news. The doctors told the couple that the chemotherapy didn't help shrink the tumor at all; in fact, it had grown bigger. After taking in the heartbreaking news, Haley was told she had six months to live.

The couple decided to use their time together wisely and went on their honeymoon. They returned to a bit of silver lining when a doctor in New York agreed to look at Haley's case.

The doctor scheduled Haley for surgery that took nine hours and was able to remove 100% of the visible cancer. It was a miracle and a dream come true for the couple.

Haley's Fight with Cancer Began Again

The couple had just celebrated their miracle surgery, but it did not take long until the cancer returned to haunt their family. Immediately after the surgery, the cancer returned, and Haley has been fighting it for the past seven years.

She has done several rounds of chemotherapy and now uses a colostomy bag. "It has been a fight," she remarked. But the couple never let go of their dreams; when Haley did better, they welcomed their son Weston through surrogacy.

Taylor decided to share his family story on TikTok, and it went viral with over 9 million views on his video. He decided to share out of distress, "I am losing my family, and there is nothing I can do about it," he expressed.

He started posting regularly and ended with over 500,000 followers. Taylor was not prepared for the support he received from fellow TikTok users.

The moments Taylor shares are both sweet and painful. One was of their son Weston rubbing his mother's back as she vomited. Another was Haley recording her voice in a stuffed teddy bear for her son to keep and remember her.

Taylor knew his wife was leaving keepsakes for their son because her time was running out. The Texas mother was told that she had run out of options.

However, Taylor holds the family down and praises his son for being sweet and caring. He is certain Weston will be the one to give him strength as they navigate the difficult times coming ahead.

Haley's Current Condition

Taylor shared a difficult conversation that Haley had to have with her son. Weston asked, "Mommy, why are you going to heaven?" As Haley lay on the couch, she explained that she would go to heaven for her not to experience any pain and vomiting and assured her son that his father would be there to take care of him.

Weston was sad at the thought of his mother leaving him, "But I will still miss you," he said after Haley told him she would always be with him in his heart.

Another shot was without Weston, and Haley, with tears in her eyes, candidly said, "I did not know what to say." The video was also captioned, "I hate cancer."

Trying to prepare their toddler for the loss of his mother has been heartbreaking for Taylor and Haley but the family continues to hold on to the good memories they share.

Taylor shared one he will never forget, their wedding day. He expressed that their special day was not filled with joy as they had just discovered that Haley was dying.

The doctors had also told the couple that she would not make it to their fifth anniversary, but Haley beat the odds, so Taylor threw a re-do of their wedding as a surprise for the anniversary.

He shared the day's video on his Instagram and thanked his friends and family for making their special day possible for the second time.

As Haley approaches her last days, her biggest fear is being forgotten. Even though she knows that people will have to move on with their lives after her death, she worries that her family will forget her.

But Taylor promised not to let that happen. Their four-year-old also knows that his mother and sick. Taylor said, "We ask him every day, 'When you cannot feel or see mommy, where is she?' and he always says, 'My heart!'"

The family is trying their best to keep their positivity, even though each day is getting harder for Haley. But they will do their best to make as many good memories as possible. Here's another touching story about a family battling cancer
