Jane Seymour Recalls the Time She Crossed Paths With Tina Turner in Her Tribute to Late Singer

Jane Seymour has paid tribute to the late music icon, Tina Turner, in a touching post. The "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" actress crossed paths with the "Simply the Best" singer during a marketing campaign in the mid-nineties.

Seymour has shared two photos with Tina Turner from that time. The first picture features the two celebrities holding colorful credit cards and smiling. In the second image, they are captured laughing broadly.

Seymour found Turner to be a powerfully energetic and amazingly spirited person. The actress acknowledged the opportunity she had to witness Turner's incredible talent. Seymour expressed her hope that Tina's soul would now rest in peace.

Seymour also detailed the circumstances that led to her meeting Tina Turner. They both took part in a campaign for Private Issue Credit Card by Discover. Both the singer and the actress created paintings that were later featured on the credit cards, which customers could select.

The concept of the Private Issue Card was to make transactions more interesting and enjoyable. Jane Seymour was among the pioneering celebrities for the company, including Ringo Starr and Florence Griffith Joyner. Tina Turner joined the company two years later, along with Jerry Garcia.

She succumbed to death at the age of 83, in her home near Zurich, Switzerland. Though the cause of her death is not yet revealed, it was known that she had battled kidney disease and other illnesses. Her legacy of music and boundless passion for life are her greatest gifts left to the world, which mourns her loss deeply.
