At only 19, Lola Tung made a significant achievement in her career by starring in Jenny Han's bestselling book-turned-television series, "The Summer I Turned Pretty." The actress, who brought to life the character Isabel "Belly" Conkin, showcased her talent in acting as she portrayed a teenager years younger than herself.

"The Summer I Turned Pretty" follows Belly's transformative journey growing up and facing the harbored romantic feelings she had for her mother's best friend's son and childhood friend, Conrad. Since the show's premiere, fans have wondered who Lola Tung's boyfriend is, but she hardly opens up about that topic.

Unfortunately, there is no information on Lola Tung's boyfriend, as the actress has never disclosed her dating status. However, she mentioned that her first celebrity crush was either Zac Efron or Corbin Bleu, the stars of Disney's "High School Musical."

Since starring in "The Summer I Turned Pretty," the actress has only focused on her career and how she relates to her character as a topic in interviews. Tung said:

Thanks to her role, Tung also learned to go easy on herself as people make mistakes as they grow up, which is how everyone gains knowledge. Like her character, she took the pressure off her shoulders and lived in the present, good or bad.

The actress also relates to Belly's personality in that she is determined and headstrong while still navigating life growing up. She was grateful for the minimal age difference between her and her character, allowing the actress to bring a little of herself to the screen through her character.

Lola Tung Prioritized Her Studies for the Longest Time

Before landing her lead role, Tung's priorities were her studies. She still values education but took a year off to film the series. Tung finished her first year at Carnegie Mellon to pursue her dreams and received the support of her teachers and friends while doing so.

Besides her education and career, she enjoys time alone and with friends. She usually cooks or hangs out with friends when she's not busy, which she sometimes documents on her Instagram account.

However, her perfect Saturday night would be spending time with her dog of several years while watching a movie, then heading to bed earlier than usual.

Because of their off-screen relationship, it was much easier for them to film together and create a fantastic television series. She said:
