Lady Gaga's sibling, Natali Germanotta, is a star in her own right. As a youngster, she and her sister had plenty of creative freedom to express themselves. Now a fashion designer, she has stayed true to her word that she would forge her own path.

Lady Gaga's younger sister, Natali Germanotta, drew her first breath in New York City on March 10, 1992. She grew up alongside her sister on the Upper West Side; the two were born six years apart.

Natali Germanotta was only 16 when her sister achieved fame with her well-known single, "Just Dance." Consequently, the singer's personal life was thrust into the spotlight. And given Lady Gaga's extravagant persona, fans grew interested in whether she and her sister shared similarities.

Lady Gaga's Sister, Natali Germanotta, Was Determined to Be a Fashion Designer

Germanotta graduated from the Convent of the Sacred Heart, an all-girls private school, in 2010 and subsequently enrolled at Parsons School of Design (Tom Ford and Marc Jacobs' alma mater). That year, she interned for Allison Parris in New York.

According to her LinkedIn, she graduated from Parsons in 2014; however, it appears she last updated her profile that year. At 19, she made headlines as a promising young designer already accumulating prominent credentials.

In 2011, news broke that she would design costumes for the off-Broadway show, "Simon Says." Yet despite being ambitious, she set her eyes only partially on high-end fashion. "I would like to make things that are extremely affordable," she mentioned in an October 2011 interview.

Germanotta added that she wanted to incorporate recycling in her clothing production and offer garments for rent to people who couldn't afford them. Today, she is the frontwoman for the NY-based Topo Studio, a full-service design house.

Natali Germanotta Has Collaborated Several Times with Her Sister

One of Germanotta's earliest collaborations with Lady Gaga was a small cameo in the actress's "Telephone" music video with Beyonce. In 2017, she appeared as herself in her sister's 2017 documentary "Lady Gaga: Five Foot Two."

In 2018, she worked in the costume department for "A Star Is Born," where her sister co-starred with Bradley Cooper, Sam Elliott, Dave Chappelle, and Alec Baldwin. But besides their onscreen collabs, Germanotta has notably designed dresses for her look-alike sibling.

In April 2022, Lady Gaga wore three looks to the Grammys, one of which she credited to Topo Studio in an Instagram post on the night of the ceremony. Later that year, she donned a stunning black satin midi dress designed by Germanotta to an event in Los Angeles.

Lady Gaga Once Posted about Her 'Little Brother'

In September 2012, Lady Gaga shared a photo depicting her embracing a young man and kissing his cheek. She called the youngster her "little brother," captioning, "My genius little brother @madeon chillin in Paris!!!"

Madeon, however, is not her biological younger brother, nor is he related to her family-wise. He is a French DJ and producer. A few days after she shared the post, it was reported that Madeon would be her main support act during her 2013 "Born This Way Ball" tour.
